Niall follows the group of people in front of him.

TheCanyon is massive. Everywhere he turns there's massive rocks and bushes.

A rugof red and brown covers the place, the burning sun making it somewhat glimmers underthe heat, thank god that it's slowly setting.

He wipes of the sweat forming onhis head as he continues to walk.

It's been about two hours since they firststarted walking and it doesn't look like the ranger is about to stop anytimesoon.

He can feel his feet starting to burn from the walk and from the sun, butevery time he wants to stop he turns and looks at the little kids doing thistour with him, and his ego provides his body with the energy his muscle longexhausted.

He can see the long river running across the Canyon, imagining howamazing it must be to look at it up close.

Not today.

They stop at a look out,to take pictures and enjoy the scenery. He walks closer to the edge, holding onto the fence and looking out to the horizon.

The sky is a mixed of orange andblue.

Orange was her colour, that was who she is. Bright, funny, always bringsher warmth wherever she goes. He loves that about her. She was the kind ofperson that you are forced to like no matter what, because even though she wassometimes annoying, there's just always something lovable that you can find ifyou look closer, and boy did he finds them all.

And blue is him. Calm andcollected, independent, way too independent.

He holds on to the railing. How hewished that he could see this view with her right now. How he wished he wasn'tso focus on himself but on them instead, maybe she'll be here today. But she'snot, he can't change that.

"Niall," The ranger calls.

He turns around seeinghim stretching out his hand. "You want a picture?"

He gives him hisphone and leans back to the railing, leaving a space next to him, just so he'dknow.

"Smile." He tries to pull the most genuine smile, and then he hears hisphone clicks.
