A hidden hero

I looked up to see a building on fire but it wasn't just any building it was my roof top home building.My friends were also home.I had to get their before the roof caved in and killed the only two people that I had close to a family.I quickly got dressed in a long sleeve shirt,jeans and tennis shoes and ran as fast as I could through the streets and down the alleys.I didn't stop not even Ounce.Ounce I got to the building I ran to the fire escape.I climbed the ladders and stairs.I reached the top just in time My two best friends were standing by the shelter huddled together in fear.Run as fast as you can towards me I yelled they both nodded in response.They ran
A crossed it just fine but Ounce they reached the middle the roof caved in taking them with it.I jumped in after them I tucked my arms into my sides so I could fall faster.I landed on a beam stomach first I managed to grab Lily And Zadys hands with both of mine at the same time.I pulled them up onto the beam.They were both passed out due to the smoke and it wasn't long before I did same.I woke up in a deo hospital room.Supergirl was sleeping at the foot of my bed.My stomach hurt like crazy and I couldn't hardly move my knees.I was hoping that I didn't injure them even more.I had a oxygen mask over my nose and mouth along with fresh burns from the fire on my face and legs.I lifted my head a little to look around.Safira your awake!!!Katy said excitedly.Katy I said in pain what happened.Super girl came back to the deo with lunch after you left and when she found your room empty and saw you run towards the building on the live news coverage on the tv she flew out of here as fast as lightning.Ive never seen her go so fast before.Anyway you and your friends were all in pretty bad shape when you guys first got here.I've never seen Supergirl so scared and worried before.Ive been recovering in this room ever since she saved me from that car accident that killed my mom and my little brother four weeks ago but no matter how much pain I was in she was never worried about me like she's worried about you.Im sorry about your mom and your brother I said sadly it's ok she replied sadly back.You have a true friend there sleeping at your feet.Possibly a best friend or a mother figure who knows what she is to you safira but clearly you mean something a lot more to her than what you think.You think I said looking at her she nodded with a smile in response.I looked down at Supergirl who had her head on the bed and the rest of her body was on her knees.I didn't want to wake her up but then again I needed to show her that I was alright.I moved my legs a little bit and immediately she woke up.Hey she said coming up to my head hey I said back.Are you ok she said taking my hand I am now I said I thought I was going to lose you she said hugging me I hugged her tightly back.When she let go of me tears were streaming down her face oh Supergirl please don't cry I said wiping her tears with my hand she gave me a sweet smile you can just call me Kara She said taking my hand again ok Kara I said yawning.Ok that's enough talking you should get some sleep she said placing a sweet kiss on my forehead but  I I said shh just sleep she said kissing my forehead again I nodded in response and I'm right here if you need anything she said I nodded again.She kissed my cheek as I scooted over into her arms and drifted off to sleep.

I found myself walking down a street at night with my parents on either side of me.Mommy can you carry me I begged sorry sweetheart but I can't because you're little sister needs the space right now my mom said sweetly.Oh I said sadly but I can carry you my dad said picking me up I giggled as he picked me up.All of a sudden a gun shot sounded and my mom fell to the ground Rose!!!!my dad yelled he set me down on the ground while He tended to mom but it was to late my mom was gone.A man dressed in black came out of no where.my dad told me to run while he distracted it I ran down the street and into a dark alley.I climbed a fire escape to the top of an abandoned building.Ounce I was on the gravel roof I herd the last gunshot that killed my dad.

I sat straight up in my bed.I was sweating and breathing hard.Supergirl woke up and immediately took me in her arms as I began to cry.Oh Kara it was so horrible and I remember it clearly I said in between sobs what was so horrible and what do you remember clearly she said looking down at me I let go of her and I told her about my night mare.Oh sweetie I'm so sorry that happened to you Kara said taking me into her arms again my parents are dead Kara and there's I can do to bring them back I said continuing to cry.safira your adrenaline is pumping from the night mare you need to rest Supergirl said rubbing my arm but how can I rest when my two best friends are hurt and the killer that killed my family is still out there I said pulling away from her again.I moved to the end of the bed and I sighed heavily then I turned around again to face Kara.This person didn't just kill my parents he or she also killed my little sibling who was still on the way.my mom was 8 months pregnant with my little sister when she was killed and what did I do I ran Because my dad told me to I continued to cry as super girl gently took me into her arms and rocked me side to side until I fell asleep.
