Apologies and I love you

Ounce we got to the city I quickly jumped out of the car in my cougar form.I had a bullet proof police dog vest on and Alex had me on a leash and collar for safety.I didn't mind anything of it but I was preparing myself to get shredded into pieces by Kara.I looked up to see my best friend flying around and causing havoc around the city.I knew what I had to do and I knew it was probably going to be painful.Aunt Alex let me loose I said looking over my shoulder.Are you sure she said walking up to me and scratching my head I'm sure now let me lose I said firmly ok she said concernly be careful I will I said and as soon as she unclipped my leash I took off running.I entered the city and immediately spotted Kara ready to attack a 4 year old girl.I ran slipped the kid on my back and raced to the nearest building to safety.The girl thanked me by giving me a nice good scratch on the head then I raced back on the road.I saved lots of people and got them to safety before I took on Kara.Ounce all of the people were safe I went for My mom.Hey Kara remember me the brat I yelled I will end you you no good piece of trash Kara yelled back as she used her lazier eyes on me.It hurt like crazy but even though it hurt I still kept distracting her.She kept blasting and It hurt more and more.When the last blast hit me I clasped on the ground and right when Kara was going to finish me off Alex shot her with the antidote.I saw her land right beside me before my eyes shut and I passed out.I woke in my old hospital bed still in my cougar form.I got out of bed and went looking for Supergirl.I Soon spotted her walking down the hallway towards me.Ounce she spotted me she started to freak out.I sat down so I didn't look like a threat.She started to back away in fear.No good cougar I said laying down look I just want to see my daughter I don't want any trouble Kara said I lifted my head then I stood up and changed back to normal Kara it's me I said standing up.Safira she said running towards me Ounce she got to me she picked me up in her arms and held me tightly.It felt so good to be in her arms again I never wanted to let go of her and I think she thought the same thing.She carried me into my hospital room and sat me down on her lap so I was facing her.She kissed my head and my cheek over and over again.Ok ok that's enough I said giggling I'm sorry Kara said I just missed you so much and I'm so so so so sorry for the way I treated you.You didn't deserve any of it and I- Supergirl It's ok I said interrupting her I'm not mad one bit I'm just glad to have you back I forgive you I wiped away some of her tears with my hand as she brought me into a hug I love you so much sweet girl she said into my ear I love you more I said back I love you most she said back.For the rest of the night we spent snuggling,talking and sleeping.I told Kara about how I could change into a cougar and about my moms side of the family history.She asked questions about it and I answered them as best as I could.So Does this mean I get to be a hero just like you I said looking up at her.She looked down at me with a stern expression on her face that made me regret asking that question it's not a good idea safira She said tightening her grip on my shoulder but why not I said In a sad tone because it's to dangerous Kara replied I don't want anything bad happening to you but being a hero is my destiny I can feel it in my bones I said she sighed as she rubbed my arm and hugged me tightly and I'm sure you'll be a great hero indeed Let me guess some day I said giving her a sad look she sighed again as she looked down at me we'll start your defense class when you're healed she said I smiled up at her and she smiled back now let's get some sleep it's almost morning Kara said holding me ok I said yawning good night mom Good night sweetie she said kissing my head.I was so happy and relieved that Kara was back to normal and that My broken heart was mended but I didn't know how much pain and devastation lied ahead I wouldn't of mentioned being hero if I knew what came next.
