The life changing moment

Another week has passed since the fire and it seemed like everything was happening all at Ounce.the day After I saved my friends from the fire and the next day after my night mare families who saw the news broadcast about all 3 of us being orphans and not having any other family came to the deo to see us.each of us had separate interviews with the family's to see Witch one would be the right fit.lily got adopted by the first family that interviewed her.They were a nice young couple known as the Olsens who were looking for a friendly and sweet kid to adopt.lily was no doubt the right fit for that family.Zady got adopted by the shepherds who were the fourth family that interviewed her they were a little older couple with a 8 year old daughter of their own her name was alley and she excepted her new older sister right away.Katy got to go home with her grandparents who lived in Alabama leaving me with no one to talk to.I wasn't as lucky as my friends.Families came in day after day but none of them were the right fit for me.Kara also seemed to be visiting me less and less so I was left all alone.Alex Kara's sister came by with food and to give me hope that Kara will come back and that she's working something out.Families still poured in and the interviews continued but there still wasn't any family that was the right fit.I began to give up hope I knew I wasn't going to find the right family for me.One day all of that changed when a young adult lady with glasses came to the deo.I had just got done with a family interview when she walked in.Hi you must be safira The lady said sitting down across from me.How do you know my name I said crossing my arms because Supergirl told me The lady said I froze wait you know Supergirl I said getting excited.Yegh I do her and I are really close friends she said oh I'm sorry I'm Kara Danvers she said holding out her hand for me to shake Nice to meet you Kara I said shaking her hand.For the next two hours we talked and got to know each other better.We went out to get ice cream when She told me that Supergirl asked her to take care of me for her because it's to dangerous for her to take care of me herself.I understood why but I was kind of a little bit sad that I probably won't see her ever again.I told her My life story and how Supergirl was my best friend forever and how I wished I could see her again I started calling Kara danvers KD for short it was cute and fun she started calling me Sweet girl I loved that nickname and I knew she loved hers We spent the rest of the day together.When we got back to the deo it was dark out Kd dropped me off and she went home.I got changed in my pjs and climbed into bed but Before I could shut my eyes Supergirl flew into my room.I jumped out of bed and ran towards her.I jumped right into her arms.she picked me up and carried me over to my bed and sat me down on her lap when she sat down.I missed you so much She said pulling me back a little so she can see my face I missed you To I said as tears streamed down my face.Oh please don't cry my sweet safira Supergirl said wiping away my tears with her hand but how can I not cry when I haven't seen you in over two weeks i said hugging her I'm so sorry about that I was talking to Kara Danvers and working stuff out about the adoption Kara said hugging me back Adoption?What do you mean Kara I said well someone has to adopt you and it might as well be me but Kd said that she was going to take care of me because it was to dangerous for you to take care of me I said confused Kara took a deep breath as she pulled out a pair of glasses and put them on her face you see I'm Kara Danvers it's my secret identity.I was shocked and I didn't know what to say.I know you're mad that I didn't tell you sooner and If you don't want to be friends anymore I'll understand she said sadly I gave her a stern look how can I be mad at my best friend that saved my life twice I said firmly you never left my side when I was hurt you talked me out of stealing when I was on the streets and the only reason why I would be mad at you is if you betrayed my trust but I don't see that happening and I will never ever tell anyone about your secret identity I smiled at her and Kara smiled back.So you want to adopt me huh she nodded suer I can be your daughter as long as I can call you mom i said it's a deal she said we hugged and curled up together in my nice warm bed.
