Two days went by since my attempt and Things have gotten better.The pain of losing my whole family is almost gone and I finally feel at peace but I could tell that there's something that Kara was not telling me about roses death.One night Kara and I went up against Astra and non who is Astras husband.While Kara and I fought non Alex and John fought Astra.How dare you hurt my best friend I could of lost her Kara said as she punched him.While she punched him I bit his arm and scratched him.Kara finally used her heat vision on him witch caused him to fly through the air.he landed hard on the ground as I ran up to him growling.Well well well you must be journey Supergirls partner and best friend he said with a cold expression on his face.I kept growling as Kara landed next to me.So if you guys are such best friends then why didn't Kara tell you the truth about your mother roses death and how she was the one who killed her he said with a wicked smile.I stopped growling and looked up at Kara with tears in my eyes is it true I said Kara knelt down to my level and put her hand on my furry cheek as she started crying as well.Yes it's true she said she was going to kill you so I reacted Alex didn't kill Rose I did I did because I was afraid of losing you again and I can't lose you I'm so sorry I turned around away from her as I absorbed what I had just been told.I wanted to run away so bad because she lied to me but I promised her that I wouldn't leave her no matter what.I listened to her crying helplessly on her knees on the ground so I decided to do the thing that I did before.I turned around and put my chin on Karas shoulder comforting her.She wrapped her arms around my neck and cried into my fur.I forgive you I said as I nuzzled her.I love you she said in my ear I love you to I said back.Oh this is touching non said disgusted oh shut up I yelled over Kara's shoulder.I will kill Kara if it's the last thing I do if you want her you're going to have to go through me first I said angrily as I stood over Kara.Kara lifted her head off my shoulder and used her heat vision on him.He immediately took off into the air leaving Kara and I all alone.Kara  it's astra Alex said over the intercoms.Kara quickly picked me up in my arms and flew as fast as she could to the building that Astra,John and Alex were on.Kara landed on the ground and sat me down gently.Astra was laying on ground gasping for air it reminded me of my moms death and how she was gasping for breath in her final moments.Kara and Astra talked and said their last goodbyes and Ounce Astra was gone Kara cried and cried.I walked over to her and nuzzled her.She wrapped her arms around my neck and cried into my fur.All of a sudden Astras army started coming and we left in a flash.

ONE WEEK LATER
a week has passed since Astras death and it seemed like Kara was doing just fine from what I could see.On Friday night I got home early from my friends house so I asked Zadys mom if we could stop by the diner real quick and get some pot stickers and of course she said yes.As soon as I got dropped off I changed into a cougar picked up the bag of pot stickers in my mouth and climbed the fire escape that led up to the apartment.I jumped into the window and looked for Kara.Kara I'm home I said cheerfully with the bag still in my mouth and I also brought your favorite I found her laying on the couch she had red eyes and a red nose and it looked like she had been crying.my smile disappeared when I saw how sad she was Mom?I said are you ok no she said as she sniffled.I have some pot stickers just in case if you're hungry I said not right now baby she said sadly as she rested her head back down on the pillow.I jumped up on the other end of the couch and sat down.why don't you tell me what you need I'll listen I said just be here with me she said ok I said I moved over to her side of the couch and curled up right by her head to comfort her.she repositioned herself so she had her head on me and her arms wrapped around me.Do you need anything else I asked her just lay here with me she said ok I said as I licked her cheek as She drifted off to sleep I rested my chin on my paws and fell asleep my self.
