"I can't believe I'm doing this."
I sighed, and ignored the grumpy man beside me to scan different rings in the box. Too shiny. Too dull. Too fancy. Too much. I couldn't decide on which one I should buy. My poor brain was a mess.
"It's your engagement tomorrow, and you're buying the ring now. I mean does that even make sense-"
"Today," I glanced at him and smiled innocently. "It's 2.00 am, Capo. My engagement is today," I said, and went back to choose the ring. "And it was you, you wanted to follow me here. I was okay with Kai coming here."
"You don't have to remind me," he muttered.
"Besides, the ring I previously chose was coming off his finger. I came to know about it today and wanted to exchange it," I pointed to one of the rings. "I would like to buy this one."
The man behind the counter jerked awake, and yawned lazily before blinking his eyes. "Okay ma'am," he said. Well, you could blame Baekhyun for waking this man up in the almost morning hours because I was ready to wait till 6. The man took out the ring, and placed it in the box. I smiled happily, and then frowned. What if the ring didn't fit well with Jinyoung this time too? That would be embarrassing.
I turned to Baekhyun and blinked when I saw him already staring at me. "Can you give me your hand?"
He rolled his eyes, and held up his hand. "What now?"
I looked at his hand, and then raised my hand as well as I intertwined my hand with his. I studied his hand carefully and frowned visibly. Why was his hand so pretty? Those hands didn't look like a killer's hands, they were too pretty.
"What are you planning to do?" Baekhyun asked, and I stared up to him with a smile. I turned to our assistant, and tusked to his attempt at packing the ring. I took it out of the box and grabbed Baekhyun's hand as I slipped the ring in his finger.
"It fits perfectly in your ring finger," I muttered, and jumped when Baekhyun at once placed his hand behind my neck and pulled me to him.
"What the fuck! You slipped your engagement ring in my finger? It is supposed to be Jinyoung," he glared. I sighed, and pulled myself away from him. "Why aren't you scared of me?" he grumbled.
