"Queen Sal-inja."
Hera stood still as the door opened and then closed. She could feel his burning stare on her even before looking at him. She had wanted this wedding for her people. To avenge Jinyoung. To stop this game of power once for all, and for a brief time she actually believed that Baekhyun was a decent person.
That he was a good choice. That he could be a monster, killer, murderer and all the bad things in the world. But, he won't be a betrayer.
She was wrong.
Again.
"I feel pity for you, Hera. You, of all people, seriously thought that I would let your sister go?" His chuckle was dark. "That's so... stupid."
She swallowed. "My stupidity costs my sister's feelings," she turned around, and tried not to step back when their eyes met. There was something different about him. As if he was showing her his real persona right now.
"She'll get over it," Baekhyun strolled towards her, and she stayed in her place even though she wanted to get out of the room. "My brother will take care of your sister very well."
Hera glared at him. "Joy was never part of our plan. How could you?" she hissed, her finger poking his chest in anger. "I trusted you and-"
"You shouldn't have," he shrugged as he grabbed her hand, and looked up at her. "I can't believe you actually fell for that," His tone turned serious. "You just walked into my web of lies without much effort."
"I'd been growing up in a world where no choices are given, especially to women," Hera replied. "I wanted my sister to have that choice. How could you do that?"
"Because I can," he was deadly calm, and it was scaring her. He stepped back, and loosened his tie before going to his bed table. "And, it isn't like she hasn't been with Taehyung before. She'll get over it."
Her lips parted in disbelief. "Don't talk about Joy like that or I will-"
"You will what?" Baekhyun glanced at her, but it wasn't his stare that stunned her, it was the condom packet in his hand. "You can't do anything. You're under me now," he smirked.
