Chapter XIII: Erza's Past

They began their journey as the sunrise greeted them. It's a nice day, a fine weather. Everyone is on time except the copy nin who always manages to be fashionably late. Lucy was out of patience as the rest are beginning to be annoyed of waiting. "Yo, good morning. I'm sorry for being late. Once again I got lost in my way here on the road of life" he chuckled. Everyone gave him a stern look. "Alright, let's go" He signaled. The ninja leaped from building roof to another like how usual ninja would travel. "Hey wait up!" Lucy shouted as she pants "We don't travel like you do" Gray said with an annoyed tone. Oh right, I remember Erza when she first came to our village. So this journey will sure take time. Kakashi jumped down to meet them and started walking. "So how are we supposed to get there?" he asked "by train" the blond answered. Natsu and Wendy were nauseous as usual whenever they ride a vehicle being dragon slayers. Kakashi is staring at the window thinking of the red haired mage that is now a full pledge ninja.

My feelings are so neutral most of the time. To feel something different there has to be a positive or negative event. After the joy or sorrow has passed I reset to the middle ground, content, neither high nor low. I have been given more blessings than I feel worthy of. I still feel love, joy and happiness so strongly it makes me tingle right down to my bones. I wonder what world history would look like if we had all understood our feelings better and could be honest with ourselves. No matter the distance my attraction to you remains constant. You could be at the ends of the earth and still I would feel pulled toward you. There is something about you and I that matches, each half loving the other so fully that a life alone would be meaningless. He sighed "I really missed her" with a faint smile hidden in his mask he pulled out his book and began reading.

They reached their destination. "Hey Kakashi, this way" natsu directed. They went down the stairway and reached the ground. Natsu made a light using his flame magic that illuminated the whole area. They scanned the drawing and pictures on the wall. It was about a fallen kingdom where dragons and humans exist in harmony and a union with the kingdom who has a strong military power which is being ruled by the Uchihas. The looks of the place looks familiar to Kakashi, he knew that if his memory serves him right: one of his anbu missions as the captain of team Ro (is an elite anbu unit composed of Kakashi the team captain, Itachi Uchiha and Yamato Tenzo and Yugao Uzuki) - he had to spy on the place that was now destroyed, that this place where Erza was transported is very similar to one of the Uchiha hideouts- The Naka Shrine- it is a shrine that the Uchiha clan originated from. It's located in Konohagakure's Uchiha District, and is the home to the clan's patron deity. There stood a stone monument which contains the clan's secrets and can only be read with specific dōjutsu- the Rinnegan. As he surveyed the area he found out an important piece of information.

The tablet can only be deciphered fully by the Rinnegan, while the Sharingan and Mangekyō Sharingan are able to partially decipher it. Certain details on the tablet were forged by Black Zetsu as part of its plan to revive Kaguya Ōtsutsuki. The tablet eventually fell into the possession of the Uchiha clan, the descendants of Indra Ōtsutsuki, where it was secretly passed down for generations. The tablet contains the following information:

The secrets of the Mangekyō Sharingan, such as instructions on how to obtain it, and its ability to control the tailed beasts.

The story of the Sage of Six Paths, Kaguya and the God Tree.

Warnings regarding Kaguya's Infinite Tsukuyomi.

The secrets of the Uchiha clan.

Warnings about the misfortune that Sharingan can bring.

The Uchiha would be saved by the Infinite Tsukuyomi.

The creation of the moon using the Chibaku Tensei

Meanwhile on the walls there's a quotation that reads:

"Seeking stability, one god was divided into yin and yang, these opposing two acting together obtain all things in creation. When someone who possesses the power of Saṃsāra approaches the moon, an eye will open that is reflected on the moon to grant the eternal dream."

It was 400 years ago and no one seems to understand what the quote means. They found a passage way that has a grand staircase that leads to a seemingly old throne room. Everything is dusty and old. There was an old portrait of the queen and king, it was old and very difficult to read but the labels can still be read and despite its age you can still make out what's on the pictures. The king has black hair, stoic expression and the sharingan with the Uchiha crest on his clothing the says "The Mighty King- Rung Uchiha" and on the left was a picture of a queen with red hair, sorcerer's staff and a dragon like hands that says "The queen of the dragons- Eileen Belserion" The woman looked exactly like Erza and there was a painting of a young woman in between the royalties, she had red hair and sharingan with a crown on her head, there is something that reads "The princess, sole heiress of the two kingdoms- Erza Belserion Uchiha"

Their eyes widened in surprise. "So Erza was never an orphan, she lived a very painful childhood, alone and was enslaved, tortured and all the people she loved was killed before her eyes but she really is a princess a true royalty, No wonder she is beautiful. The title Titania- Queen of the fairies fits her" Gray narrated "You know Gray, you should have confessed to her when you were with her. If I've known better I would say you were in love with her" Carla commented Gray just looked away trying to hide his blush. Kakashi can't help himself to be annoyed with jealousy as he listens and observe the ice mage which is now he considers as a rival, though he was surprised to hear about her past, he had no idea that they have a very similar childhood maybe different scenario but the feelings are the same. "But I am confused. Erza is just the same age as us and these are 400 years ago, don't tell me that she is immortal and is more than 400 years old" Lucy stated. Kakashi was just silent trying to absorb everything "I think Erza knows nothing about what we discovered today" Wendy concluded. Everyone nodded in response.

They went back to fairy tail. Kakashi bid his farewell and thanked them and went back to konoha. He pulled out the transportation lacrima he found on the clearing. Made a few hand signs, activated his sharingan opened a scroll and opened the portal. He bowed to the guild master and jumped into it. Gray is controlling himself not to jump after him. When he decided to go with Kakashi the portal closed. The ninja did it on purpose, he do not want his rival anywhere near his girl.
