Chapter 20: Spirit Of The Sand

All of the teachers shot up in their seats, “Everyone prepare to protect the students at all costs we don’t know what the villains are planning this time.” Nezu ordered then there was a loud explosion that shook the whole building, everyone was on high alert and we all ran out of the faculty room and ran outside only to see sand rotating around the whole building.

I covered my eyes with my hand from the blinding sand seeing a silhouette of someone coming towards us, the teachers and I took our places getting ready for what the villains had for us.

For that moment I froze, seeing the person becoming visible to us I couldn’t believe my eyes. I couldn’t believe who we were up against, the person who would attack UA was Y/n.

Y/n stopped walking towards us and just stood there, the rest of class 1A students came outside as well while some of the teachers stayed behind to protect the other students. “Y/n what is the meaning of this, why did you plan to attack UA?” Aizawa activated his quirk but Y/n’s quirk didn’t erase, sand still swarmed the whole building like a giant sand tornado. Y/n did answer his question and just stood there. The extras began calling out to Y/n but she didn’t answer back to them either.

Aizawa took down his scarf and attempted to capture Y/n in it but her sand blocked it, I clenched my fist and stared at Y/n, I stared at the blank expression on her face then looked into her eyes. I referred back to one of the photos. “I don’t want to hurt them but I have no control,” That’s it! 

“Aizawa, Y/n’s is being used!” I shouted to him, “Bakugo’s right I’ve seen her like this before, but this time it’s different, she’s hypnotized!” Todoroki ran up to Aizawa, he looked at Icy-Hot and me and sighed, “If it turns out that she is with the villains then we have no choice but to arrest her. Now get into groups and find the real person behind this and help put a stop to this attack without causing critical injury to Y/n” that was his orders and the heroes went after Y/n while the rest of the class and I tried to figure this out. Everyone began asking me questions and it was driving me insane. “OI JUST SHUT THE HELL UP!!” I shouted, now was not the time to answer so many damn questions.

“Icy-hot you said she was like this before, how so, tell me fast we don’t have a lot of time!” I looked back at Y/n seeing her brutally attacking the teachers, I knew they couldn’t handle Y/n’s quirk right now so it won’t be long until it all falls apart. “On the last night of internships Y/n played music on the piano, they way she responded to the music seemed to have an affect on her and it calmed her down. Think of it as someone controlling a snake with subliminal music.” How the hell did this Todoroki bastard know about Y/n’s weakness, hell even I didn’t know about.

“In Y/n’s note she said the flute is the key and that this guy named Piper would use it to attack UA, so we find this guy and blow up his fucking head, take the damn flute and free Y/n” 

“But in order for Y/n to be hypnotized she has to be able to hear it so if this villain is playing it shouldn’t we hear it too?” Deku was right about that one, how the hell are we supposed to find a guy we can’t see or hear. The memory of me feeling something under Y/n’s skin behind her ear made me think. “If this guy isn’t close at all then it would make sense that he’s attacking from a distance, somewhere in this sand,” I pointed towards Y/n who was still attacking the pros. “I’m guessing what I felt behind her ear is a speaker or something, he might be attacking from a distance but if he goes too far out of range the signal will blow and Y/n can regain control again. I’m also guessing that’s the reason why all of this sand is around the school.”

Everyone looked at each other then back at me and nodded, “We can split up into teams of three,” Deku suggested, “Yeah but you and Icy-hot are on my team got it, I’m gonna admit this once so don’t bring it up after this is over, I need your help alright.” Raccoon eyes was going to comment on what I just said but I shouted at her before she could say anything else. Deku and Todoroki nodded and stood by me.
