8- Pre ball

It's been a few months since your first time meeting Ahsoka. These months had been really active for you and Padmé thought you and your three Jedi friends needed to relax a bit. One day, you were talking with Anakin, Obi-Wan and Ahsoka and Padmé arrived with a smile.
"Hey Padmé! What's with the smile?" Asked Anakin smiling too. There's definitely something going on between those two, you thought.
"I just learned that the Senate is doing a ball on Naboo in two weeks and they told me to invite you four to "protect" us in case anything happens," she said quoting her fingers at the word protect, "they also want you to dress up in a chic way to blend in." The four of you smiled excitedly. That was great! Until Padmé said this.
"You'll need a partner though... it can be anyone!" Anakin smirked and turned to Padmé.
"Well, will you do the pleasure to accompany me Senator Amidala?" Padmé's eyes sparkled. "Yes!" She said. You found it funny. You didn't know if anyone would want to go with you.
- Time Skip on Naboo-
You were walking in the corridors of the castle when you bumped in an old friend.
"Satine! What are you doing here?"
"(Y/N)? Is that you? My my, you're so pretty! It's been a while!" Satine was the ruler of Mandalore, your home planet. You met her officially as a padawan and you've been friends since then. There also seemed to be something going on between her and Obi but you weren't sure.
"Im here because I'll be attending to the ball!"
"Me too! Are you going with someone? Pretty sure if you ask Obi-Wan, he'll say yes." You said smirking.
"I'm already going with someone. Another senator. You? Are you going with someone."
"No, pretty sure I'll end up going alone because honestly, let's face it, who'd like to go with me?"
"Everyone! You're pretty and smart and badass!"
"No I'm not, I'm not pretty. I'm a Jedi with a big scar on her face! How does that make me pretty?" You had a scar from your cheek to your neck from the battle against Maul a few years ago. You weren't feeling great because of that.
"Oh shush, that scar makes you badass and it shows that you are fighting for what you think is right. You will definitely find someone to go with you to this ball." You smiled. She was right.
"Thanks Satine. I'll go now. Gotta find a dress."
"See you at the ball!"

You were going back to your room in the castle when you heard quick footsteps behind you.
"(Y/N)! Hey can I talk to you for a second?" You turned around to see your friend Obi!
"Hey Obi! What's up?"
"Listen (Y/N), I wanna know if you're going with anyone to the ball?"
"Nope I'm not. I'm free."
"That's great cause I wanted to know if you wanted to go with me?"
"Yeah of course! I'd be happy!" You said happily. You two smiled and parted. Ok (Y/N) let's find you a dress!
