20- Sick partner

Heyyy so this chapter has been requested by Jawa86  hope you enjoy that chapter. I might actually write another version cause yeah. I couldn't chose between sick obi and sick reader. Hehehe

Obi-Wan kept glancing at you dozing off. You were in a meeting with the council and he felt that you weren't well. Your face was flushed and yet, you couldn't stop shivering. After many other painful minutes, the meeting was finally over and you could finally get out of here. You tried to get up but started swaying. Your boyfriend rushed to help you. Putting a hand on your back, he felt the heat radiating from your body. You two exited the room.
"Hey, why didn't you tell me you weren't feeling well?" He asked, concerned.
"Uh? Nah don't worry love I'm just feeling... a bit... under the weather." He rolled his eyes and stopped you. You  tried to get past him but he wouldn't let you.
"(Y/N) Sunrider you clearly don't feel well. Do not lie to me I can sense your discomfort!" You looked away, then sighed.
"You're right, I don't feel well." You finally admitted. He gently took your face in his hands and stroke your cheeks. You smiled softly.
"Don't worry dear, I'll take care of you." He said softly. You two walked to his quarters and when you got in, he noticed that you were more flushed than before.
"Remove your clothes and come in the bathroom when you're ready." He said kissing you on the forehead, feeling your fever. Not good. I'll have to bring this down. He thought concerned. He went into the bathroom and filled the tub with water. It was cold enough to bring your fever down. You entered the room bathroom fully naked and saw the bath full of water and smiled.
"You're truly the best Obi!"
"I know," he smirked, "alright get into the bath." You put one foot into the water but removed it quickly, shrieking.
"It's cold! Too cold!" You said.
"No. It's only cold enough to bring your temperature down. I can't make it hotter or else you'll get worse." You pouted, shivering. He removed his  clothing and brought you with him  in the water. You gasped softly as the cold water hit your skin. He rubbed your back and planted kisses on your shoulders. You two sat down in the tub and he began pouring water on your head. After being in the bath for a while, he got out with you and draped a big, fluffy towel around your shivering body. You leaned into him, tired. He dried you and brought you back to his (your) room. He got you some comfortable pyjamas that you gladly put on. You then went into the bed while he went back into the bathroom. He came back with a cup of medicine and a glass of water.
"Oh no. No obi no!" You said.
"Oh yes. You will take it!" You sighed and snatched the cup, drinking it quickly before taking the glass and chugging it.
"Slowly, slowly..." he said softly. You then felt tired and sank into the covers. You looked at him.
"What?" He asked smirking.
"Cuddles?" You asked innocently. He chuckled and joined you into the bed. He put you on his chest and played with your hair.
(Time Skip)
It was later that night, Obi-Wan jolted awake when he felt a disturbance in the force. He saw you, sweating and looking in discomfort. You were mumbling things. You then started to move while talking louder. Fever dreams, he thought concerned. He shook you gently.
"(Y/N)! (Y/N)! Wake up love! (Y/N)!!" You jolted awake. Your eyes were widened in fear and you were looking around as if something terrifying was there. You jumped slightly when you felt your boyfriend's hand on your shoulder. He then hugged you and whispered reassuring things to you. In a matter of minutes, you were sleeping again in your lover's arms. When he was sure you were asleep, Obi-Wan got out of bed and went to the bathroom to fetch a wet towel to bring your fever down. He gently patted your face and torso with it. Obi-Wan put the towel aside and got back in bed.
=Time Skip=
You woke up the next morning feeling better. Your head was still aching but it wasn't like last night. You looked beside you and found that Obi's side of bed was empty. You were wondering where he could be until you heard the door open and saw Obi-Wan carrying a tray of food. He smiled when he saw you were awake and placed the tray on your bedside table.
"Morning love," he said kissing your forehead, "how are you feeling?"
"Morning," you said smiling, "I'm feeling better thanks."
"I told the council that you were sick. They told me to tell you to take all the time you need to recover." You nodded while taking the tray of food in your hands and eating with appetite.
"I'll also take care of you during the next few days." He said joining you in the bed.
"Aww you're too sweet. Thanks. I love  you." He brought you closer to him and you age your breakfast happily. You were glad to have someone so caring like Obi-Wan to be with you. You felt like you were the luckiest person alive.
