"Your all over the tabloids."
"I know."
"What happened?"
"I... you wouldn't understand."
"Of course I would."
"No, you wouldn't. Trust me. Anyway, it's stupid. Well, I got to go."
"Bye, Francesca."
"Bye, dad," I hang up the phone and put my head in my hands, sighing.
A few minutes later I get another call, Gemma.
They just keep coming in!
"Hello?"
"Francesca, what the bloody hell happened?"
"It's nothing, I promise."
"Yeah, breaking down and crying in the middle of a movie premiere is nothing," she scoffs. This time, she speaks in a softer tone. "Francesca, you can trust me."
"Gemma," I sigh. I wanted to tell her, I did. I just couldn't. "I haven't even told Mackenzie."
"That hidden?"
"Yep."
"Alright, well, you're my best friend, Francesca. I'm here if you need me."
I smile a bit. "Thank you."
"Love you, Francesca."
"Love ya."
I hang up and turn off my phone, I'm done with calls for today.
But done with technology?
Yeah, never will I ever.
I pull my laptop onto my lap--- OH MY GOD! THATS WHY THEY CALL IT A LAPTOP!
That just clicked. How? I don't know.
Sighing, I feel back onto my bed. "I need help."
"No," my mother said, startling me. "I do. Help me with the laundry."
I rolled my self off the bed, hitting the floor with a thud.
"So," my mom starts. "How are you feeling?"
"Mom, you know I hate talking about this."
"Francesca, I know. But this is serious. Should we get you back on your meds?"
I fold a shirt than shove it in my drawer. "It was just one panic attack, ma."
"Francesca! Last time, it was one. That led to more, than more, than more. And then, a suicide attempt."
"Mom," I sighed, the tears in her eyes brought some to mine. I hug her. "Mommy, I'm okay. I promise you."
"I just don't want to lose you."
"You wont."
"But Francesca, we really should get you back on those meds."
"Whatever you want," I sigh.
---
"So, what caused the attack?"
I described everything to the nurse as she wrote down every detail.
"Okay, when did the attacks, before this one, end?"
"And last time these occured it was because your boyfriend raped you, correct?"
I nod. "Correct."
