“Okay let’s go somewhere more private” I said, he nodded.
We walked to this park not far from the mall and sat down on the bench. “Now speak” he said.
“Okay, Okay don’t be so pushy” I said, he gave me a look and I sighed.
“Okay so the real reason that we moved here is because my Dad was killed a week ago and my Mom wanted to move back.” I said.
“How did he died” I felt tears prick at my eyes, but I didn’t dare let them fall.
“I was a Daddy’s girl and me and him were walking down the street on our way to get ice cream, Addison and Maddison were holding my hands and this guy came out of no where and held a gun to my Dad’s head. My Dad told us to run, but I couldn’t move. The guy shot my Dad and I watched my Dad fall on the ground, lifeless. Then the guy threatened to kill my sister’s too if I didn’t do something for him. He raped me and I didn’t fight him, I had to save my sisters” I said.
Josh wrapped an arm around me. “Last night my mom said that she only wanted one daughter and she basically said she didn’t care about me or my little sisters. She only cares about Summer. She said I didn’t need her, that I was stronger than Summer” I said, I was about to cry, but I held my tears in. I never cried in front of people.
“You can cry you know” Josh whispered in my ear.
“No I can’t, crying is a sign of weakness and I can’t let anyone see my weaknesses” I said.
“You haven’t changed a bit, I remember when you were 7, I was 8 and we wanted to see who could climb the farthest up the tree, you won but you feel out and landed flat on your face. You didn’t shed a tear and we found out later that you had broken your arm” Josh said, I smiled at the memory.
“How do you remember that?” I asked.
“How could I not, we were neighbors and best friends” he said.
“You know Autumn I cried for hours and hours the day you left” he said.
“Josh so did I, I just didn’t let anybody see me” I admitted.
“Autumn I thought about you day after day, after you left, wishing I would see that long blonde hair again” he said. I smiled a little.
“I moved back into that house ya know” I said.
“NO WAY” he exclaimed.
“Yes way” I smiled.
“I can not believe I didn’t know that” he said. I just smiled.
“You know Autumn it’s okay to cry in front of me” Josh said.
“Josh after Dad died I didn’t know what to do, Mom didn’t even seem like she cared. She acted like she was glad he died! Dad used to say he saw a lot of himself in me and that he knew I would be a smart young lady one day and now look at me, I’m just a disappointment to everyone. You’re the only person I told about how he died” I said looking down at my lap.
“Look at me” Josh demanded, I slowly faced him and we looked each other in the eyes.
“You are no where close to a disappointment! Trust me Autumn you are beautiful and smart and skinny. You’re hilarious and everything a guy would want. Any guy would be lucky to have you” he said.
“Josh you’ve never been this sweet before” I laughed.
“Way to ruin the moment” he rolled his eyes.
“What moment?” I asked smirking. Josh rolled his eyes.
“Every day I looked at your instagram page and every time I saw you with one of your boyfriends and you had a lot by the way. I would get so jealous” he said.
“Every time I saw your post about a girl or a girl’s post about you I would also get jealous” I said smiling.
All of a sudden Josh crashed his lips onto mine, it was a nice slow kiss. BAM! Sparks flew everywhere. When we pulled away I smiled.
“I have waited since the day you left to do that” Josh said.
“We should maybe head back now” I said standing up.
"Yeah just one sec” Josh said crashing his lips onto mine.
We had a mini make out session before walking back to school hand-in-hand.
As the school came into view I stopped Josh. “Maybe we shouldn’t hold hands walking into the school, I don’t want people to think I’m just a rebound” I said, Josh nodded and pecked me on the lips.
We stopped holding hands and walked up to the school, we both walked inside and to our lockers, his was near mine. I saw Paige standing at her locker, talking with some guy. Me and Josh walked up to her.
"Autumn meet Nick Kelley my boyfriend” Paige smiled, awh they were so cute together!

As the five minute bell rang, Josh and Nick walked off and me and Paige grabbed our books.
“Paige I have got to talk to you” I said as we walked to our next class.
“What is it?” she asked me as we took our seats in the back.
“Me and Josh kissed” I said looking down.
“FINALLY” she yelled.
“SHHH” I yelled clasping my hand over her mouth.
“I would love my best friend to date my brother” she said, I laughed.
“Oh and apparently we’re neighbors again” I said.
“No way, how did we not know this?” she asked.
“I have no idea” I laughed.
After class, I asked Kelly to take me home and she of course said yes. Also apparently Paige told Brooke about the kiss and now they were happy.
When we arrived at home I smiled and climbed out of the car.
“Bye guys see you tomorrow” I waved as I walked over to my house. I walked in and instantly heard a baby cry, Mom and Summer were eating supper.
I sighed and ran upstairs. Addison and Maddison were both in Addison’s room crying. I scooped them up in my arms and rocked them to sleep.
When they were asleep, I laid Addison in her crib and then walked over to Maddison’s room and laid her down.
I walked over to my room and collapsed on my bed, I instantly started crying. I walked into my bathroom, making five clean cuts on each arm. I cleaned them up and then walked back into my room, I laid on my bed and cried myself to sleep.
