“Great now I have to pull her solo” Miss Abby yelled.
“Now Mom’s go into the dancers den, I want to talk to the girls alone about something” Abby said, the mom’s walked away.
“Now girls and guy have any of you ever considered home schooling?” she asked us.
“NO” Me and Paige both yelled.
“Do you want to make it big in dance?” she asked us.
“Well yeah but we both love school” Paige explained.
“I have worked my whole life towards being valedictorian! I want to graduate high school with my class” I yelled.
“Paige, Autumn don’t you want to go on broadway?” she asked us.
“Yes” we both said.
“Okay then you must be homeschooled
“Fine” Paige and I grumbled.
“Now that everybody has agreed, I will go talk to your parents, stretch and practice your dances” Abby said walking away.
I sighed and started stretching with Paige, Brooke, and Josh.
After we practiced Abby walked in. “So now that that’s over we will all be flying to Orlando in an hour, go pack, we are staying a week! We have three meet and greets and a competition” Abby announced, we all nodded.
“Paige pack for me and pack Addison and Maddison a bag, I’m going to go see if they have awoken” I said running out of the studio and all the way to the hospital. I ran all the way up to their room and saw a doctor in there with them.
“They just woke up” she smiled.
“Are they okay?” I asked.
“They are free to go home now, but please give them medicine every three hours, here’s the medicine just put it in their sippie cup now they can go, also here’s a free stroller, you’ll need it” she explained, I nodded and took the bottle of medicine from her. I lifted up my sisters and placed them in the stroller.
I saw Kelly pull up outside of the hospital, I climbed in and placed Maddie and Addie in their car seats.
“Ready?” Kelly asked us.
“Uhm sure” I said.
After the 2 hour and 20 minute flight we finally arrived in Orlando.
“Be at the studio at 6 tomorrow morning” Abby yelled.
I was sharing a room with Paige and Brooke, along with Maddie and Addie. They were asleep.
“I am so happy to be here! We have like got to go to Disney World” I exclaimed.
“Well, me, you, Paige, and Josh are going to Disney World tomorrow for a meet and greet at like 5 and then the rest of the dancers will be going to Sea World with the mom’s. We are going by ourselves with a body guard and the twins” Brooke said smiling.
“Paige whenever I used to live here, you and Chloe were like best friends what happened?” I asked her.
“Well once I started taking my dance career more seriously, I became the top dancer and she got jealous, we pretend to be best friends, but we’re not” she explained, I nodded.
“And she has always hated you” she added.
“So I’ve been told” I sighed.
Just then our door opened and in walked Josh, I smiled and hugged him.
“Hey” he smiled.
“Hey Joshy “ I said.
"Are you excited for our meet and greet tomorrow?” he asked me.
“Yes I am” I smiled.
“So uhm Autumn do you want to go to the roof with me until lights out?” he asked me.
“Sure” I smiled and went up to the roof with him.
“So how are you?” he asked.
“Okay I guess, I mean I just think everyday people have it worse than me and that’s what helps me get through the day” I said.
“How are your little sisters?” he asked, just then the door to the roof opened and Brooke walked in with Maddie and Addie.
“They woke up and started crying for you” she explained, setting them down, they ran up to me and I sat them both in my lap, Brooke then left.
“They’re okay I guess, I mean they’re two they don’t really get what’s going on” I explained.
“I bet this is hard for you, I mean now you have no family” Josh said.
"Uhm yes I do"
“What are you talking about?” Josh looked confused.
“You’re my family silly” I laughed. He smiled and wrapped an arm around me.
“Your sisters don’t talk much” Josh pointed out. I sighed.
“They haven’t really talked to anyone but me since the accident” I said looking down at the two little girls sitting in my lap. I felt tears sting at my eyes, but I didn’t let them fall.
“You can cry, I won’t judge you” Josh said patting my back.
“I know Josh, but I have to be strong, for their sake” I said.
“If I cry, they cry” I said looking up at the stars.
“You shouldn’t have to go through this alone” he said. I didn’t say anything, I didn’t have to.
“I just can’t believe he’s gone” I said.
“One second we were laughing and having a good time, then the next thing I know he’s lying lifeless on the ground” I said.
“Daddy” I heard Addie say.
“Daddy” Maddie yelled.
“Daddy is gone babies” I cried and then they started crying. Josh wrapped his arms around me and my sisters. I started crying into his chest.
I pulled away and wiped my tears away. “Josh I know you’re trying to help, but can you please just leave me alone with my sisters?” I asked.
“Yeah of course” he stood up and walked away.
I stood up and picked Maddie and Addie up, I held them in my arms and looked at the stars.
“You see that star right there, it’s the brightest one” I said.
“Yes” they both said.
“That star is daddy looking down on us, making sure we stay out of trouble” I said.
They smiled and so did I. I set them down on the ground and they stood beside me. I bent down to their level. I pulled three lockets out of my pocket.
“Which one do you want?” I asked. Addison grabbed the one with the pink and orange chain and Maddison grabbed the yellow and pink chain one. I smiled and slipped the blue and purple chain one around my neck.
“Look” I said opening my locket, on the right was a picture of them as soon as they were born with Dad and me. On the left is a picture of the four of us about a week before he died.
“Now put it on” I said, they slipped them over their heads.
“Never lose this, as long as you have this dad will always be with you” I smiled hugging them.
“I love you” I whispered.
“I love you” they both said. I smiled and picked them back up, walking back to our room.
I walked in and laid them in their beds, I climbed in my bed and I was soon fast asleep. I woke up when I felt someone climb into my bed. On either side of me laid my sisters. I smiled as they curled up into my sides, I put my arm around them and fell back asleep.
