Chapter 1

Chris's POV

I woke up in a daze and my head hurts.

"Aahh..." I groan. I should really think twice before having a drinking session with Gab, she's really something when it comes to alcohol. Jeezzz...

I came down as soon as I was done showering.

"Ohh.. there you are. Finally you're up weakshit."

"Shut up Jay. Look who's talking, you were the first one who was down last night." I blurted out.

Everyone laugh at Jay. Jay is a cousin of mine and we stayed in together in this house together with Jerrick, another cousin of mine, eversince we all started college.

"True that." Gab seconded. Gab is a childhood friend of mine, she's staying in dorm a walking distance from here with her bestfriend Claire and also the girlfriend of Jay.

All of us are pretty much close 'cause we've been together since like grade school. Jay is taking up Civil Engineering together with Gab, while Jerrick is taking up Law, Claire is taking up Psychology and I'm an Information Technology student.

"Well, you guys should stop celebrating and having drinking sessions every after exams." Claire exclaimed.

"Come on babe, it's our way of releasing our stress after preparing hard for the exams. Don't be mad about it." Jay answered and he pinched the nose of his girlfriend playfully.

"Can the both of you stop that mushing stuff of yours, kadiri masyado."

"Shut up Gab, you're just jealous because you don't have someone to mush with."

"Me? Jealous? Come on Claire, I don't need someone to mush stuff with, ibahin mo ako sa'yo."

"Aheemmm.." Jerrick cleared his throat. "Stop it the both of you and we may expect a war between the two of you again." he said while seriously reading.

"There he goes again, in control na naman."

"Gab, you know I can hear you, right."

"Yeah.. yun yung point ko na marinig mo yung pinaririnig ko. Jeezzz..." Gab remarked.

"Well, I don't need your point."

Gab just rolled her eyes at Jerrick, well can't blame her. No one can defeat Jerrick in an argument, well he's a law student after all, better accept defeat and just shut up.

"Thank God at weekend na and pre-final's done. Time to relax and chill, babe want to go swimming later?"

"Sure babe."

"Well, guess I'm not going to spend my day  in the swimming pool then. Don't want to see you both with those mushy gross stuff you do all the time."

"No one's asking you Gab, FYI."

"For sure Jerrick's gonna decline the offer and spend the whole day reading again."

"Better be doing something than nothing." Jerrick closes his book and went upstairs.

"How 'bout you Chris, want to join us? It'll be fun."

"For sure you'll be out of place, might as well tumanggi ka na sa offer. By the way I'm heading back to the dorm na, byerss." Gab stood up and walk herself out of the house.

"So Chris? Sama ka na magswimming?" Jay asked me again.

"Nahh.. I'm going to rest up more, pagod pa rin ako from last night." I replied.

"Okay fine, guess it'll just be the two of us then babe."

I went back to my room and lay on my bed, I scanned my phone's gallery and I saw a photo of her. I let out a sigh, it's been 8 months already since I last saw her.
