Kehlani's POV

"Are you a fucking idiot?" I said to my brother.

"No, I just didn't hear you clearly," He rubbed the back of his neck.

I face palmed, "How can you forget to put fucking chocolate chips in the damn mix, and how the fuck can you mistake it for blueberries, you fucking-" I was about to keep going about his idiotic choice but a voice roared through the kitchen.

"Woah, language, princess," I turned from the stove to see Trevor.

I rolled my eyes as flipped the pancake I had to pick blueberries out of.

I didn't notice that someone had wrapped their hands around my waist from behind me, I turned and as I assumed in my head, it was Trevor.

I smiled at him behind me, "Well, good morning," I said as I turned back to pay attention to the pan.

"Woah there, hands off my sister, Trev," I heard Keviin say from what seemed to be behind the camera.

I shook my head and rolled my eyes, "You don't need to listen to him," I said flipping the pancake.

A low growl was heard which made us three snap our heads in that direction. The alpha had walked into the kitchen and he was focused on Trevor holding me than anyone else.

"Good morning, Alpha," I smiled back at him.

He seemed to ease up, a little.

"Why are you touching her?" He asked, his voice a deep and demanding tone.

I turned a bit to look at Trev and he was just enjoy Aaron's jealousy. I scoffed at his cockiness and continued finishing up.

'You know you make me go crazy right.' I heard Trev's voice in my head.

I shifted back a little which me accidentally brush my butt against his... yeah. I gasped when his grip tightened holding me there. I was standing there, literally shaking. I cleared my throat.

"Yeah, uh, Trev can you get the butter, please?" I asked as I pointed to the top freezer.

Laughs erupted the room as I knew they were laughing at me. I looked down and shook my head before laughing with them. I rolled my eyes, washing my hands, I wanted to get out of there as fast as I could to hide from my embarrassment. I dried my hands with a paper towel and threw it away before walking through the doorway. Their presences were left behind me and I made my way up to my room.

"Hi, Kehlani!" A bit of a pitched voice said.

I looked down to see Jasper.

"What's up, champ?" I asked, ruffling his hair.

He shook his head, smiling, "My mommy and daddy is having another baby," He whispered enough for only me to hear.

My eyes shone with sparks. Another baby? Oh my gosh. I smiled down and hugged him, it felt weird cause he was like twelve years old and going through puberty and I just pulled him into a hug which made him go between my breasts.

"That's great isn't it?" I asked him, bending down a bit to get to his level.

We continued bickering in the hall and a voice was heard from behind us. I was still bend over talking to Jas.

"I like this view," I'm sure the alpha said, I heard his steps growing louder.

I got up and shook my head and moved aside so he could see the kid. He stopped and his eyes grew wide. I snorted and told Jas to go get some pancakes, which he agreed and ran to the kitchen.

"You just say things that are on your mind, huh?" I said as I wiped sweat that was on my head.

He chuckled walking closer to me till we were a few feet apart, "Well it was a nice view," He said, his eyes turning a darker shade.

I backed up a little and pushed a strand of hair behind my ear, "Is there something you need, Alpha?" I asked standing straight.

Once again, he pinned me against the wall, his hands around my neck. I gulped, I was starting to think this was going to become a thing.

"You know that you're mine right, no other man can touch you," He nuzzled his face in my neck.

I felt so disgusted, he had a girlfriend and he was treating me like this cause he could possibly be my mate.

"Woah, what are you doing, man?" I heard Trevor's voice from the left of us.

I watched as Aaron snapped his head in that direction, I could feel his anger starting rise looking at Trev. I put a hand on his wrist as his grip was tightening around my neck. He looked at me and quickly let me go. I fell to the ground, gasping for air. My neck was hurting and it made my head start to hurt. I looked up and Aaron was just looking at me. Trevor rushed to my side, checking my neck but was being cautious wherever he touched. I kept my eyes on Aaron, who was fuming that Trevor was touching me. I pushed Trev away, he looked at me worried but it soon turned to anger when he looked at Aaron.

"Whatever it is that you guys have each other needs to stop," I said before they both could say a word to each other.

My neck was starting to sting, I touched it and I flinched hard. Then I heard Keviin walking out of the kitchen. I quickly picked myself up and starting walking away. I was dusting myself as I went. Even if it was bad that the alpha did this to me, I didn't want my brother to take it out on them when it was me who was the problem. They were so caught up in a bad romance with me and I was just making things harder for myself and them.

"Hey, Lani, wait up!" He tried catching up with me.

I looked the other way when he came to my side, my hair followed with my movement.

"What's up, Vi?" I asked still not looking at him.

"What's up with those two, ever since you came they've been at each other neck since yesterday, are you all like doing something?" He asked as he tried to keep up with my pace.

I laughed a little quietly, "I'll tell you when we get to my room," I said.

When we got to my room, I let him in before me and closed and locked the door behind me. When I turned around his face dropped. I forgot about my neck when were talking on our way up here.

"Oh fuck-"

"Yeah, oh fuck, what the hell happened?" He came rushing to me.

"I'm fine, Vi," I said, pushing him by his chest.

He shook his head and examined it carefully.

"Who's doing was this?"

"Can I just explain about Trev and Aaron, I mean the Alpha?" I asked walking to my bed.

He sighed and nodded.
