Season 2: Chapter 7
Beauty with no beastKehlani's POV
There he was. My beautiful son in my arms. Wagging around like the little pup he is. His eyes shone a beautiful golden streak in the light. He cooed softly whenever feeling as he needed to. His cries will be soft but he holds tears in his small golden orbs. He was beautiful.
A few people edged around the bed as I held him in my hands. The people from the pack house were separated in groups to be sure not to overwhelm me or anything. But here was Jane. Crying from excitement and holding my newborn child in her pale arms. Tears fell off her cheeks and onto the blanket wrapped around him. He was softly giving to the other to be cherished and admired. You sat there doing that for a few hours until it was just Keviin, Aaron, Trevor, and their other halves. I was holding Jake in my arms as I smiled down at him, his tiny and soft little hands squeezed my finger lightly.
"He's so beautiful, can I hold him again?" You heard Vi say from the left of your bed.
You looked up and gave him a look which you were trying to say, "no you can't hold him again cause you held him more than 5 times already and you need to take a rest."
He laughed and shoved a small piece of hair behind your ear as he kissed your forehead.
"Me and Nicole will be on our way back home. We'll see you then." He ruffled your hair and pinched your cheek before gathering his things and taking his wife and son out of the room.
The reason Vi was so touchy and clingy to Jake was because him and Nicole had a miscarriage. He'd just told me when she left to the restroom. I on the other hand became soft to her. I held her hand and told her that things will get better.
Now I was left with my mates and their other halves. I sat there flushed watching JJ fuss in the little cradle that the hospital set up. My heart started to beat fast, I wondered if he was okay. If he was hungry. Or needed to be rocked back to sleep. Or be needed a diaper change. Wait no a diaper change would be too early. It's been only a couple hours. I put my head in my palms as I sighed softly. A warm hand fell onto my shoulder. I looked up to see Trevor. I smiled softly and put my hand over his.
"He's just a little tired, and you should be getting sleep as well. I'll rock him, you can just lay back and close your eyes."
He pushed my head back softly onto the pillow and pressed the button so that I could lay down. A click sound echoed faintly through the room. My vision darkened and I could see the poorly dimmed ceiling. I sat up again and looked at Trevor who was still standing next to me.
I looked to see his girlfriend wasn't in sight, neither was Aaron's wife. Wife. I still can't get used to it. A small pain erupted in my chest and burned through my back. I groaned as I rubbed my chest, trying to forget about having to think about anything like that.
"Hey just rela-"
"I can't, okay?" I looked at Aaron who sat on the chair next to me.
He rubbed my arm but I swatted it away. My eyes burned from the tears that were forming.
"What's wrong? I can help you if you let me, Lani." His voice was low and soothing.
His hands grasped my arm lightly and he sighed quietly.
"Tell me what's wrong, Lani."
I looked up to see Trevor, fast asleep on a chair holding JJ in his arms.
"I... I just miss you guys and I messed things up so badly." I squeezed my eyes tightly.
His knuckles grazed my cheek. I looked at him and his eyes shone a dark red.
"I can't control it sometimes. It takes a mind of it's own before I can do anything to stop it. I'm resisting so bad right now from just taking you right here, right now."
His eyes glistened from the light on the night stand. It was more brighter than it was a second ago. His hand made it's way to my neck and to my chest. My stomach flipped as his fingertips left trails of goosebumps on my skin.
"A-Aaron, stop." I bit my lip, keeping myself quiet.
He hand froze and he pulled away. He inhaled deeply and sighed. His hand ran through his hair as his eyes went to their original color. Hazel. Oh those beautiful hazel eyes.
"I'm sorry, I just couldn't resist. I'm going to be in the restroom."
He got up and left just like that. My heart was beating hard when he walked out of the room instead of using the restroom in the room. Trevor groaned as he shifted making himself comfortable with Jake in his hands. A small laugh escaped my lips. I pushed the blanket off my legs and made my way to Trevor. I pulled Jake out of his arms and set him in the cradle. I spotted Trevor's jacket on the arm of a chair and pulled it over him.
"Thank you for getting there in time, I love you, Trevor." I kissed his head and turned only to be stopped by a grip on my wrist.
I turned but was only pulled down onto Trevor's lap. I squealed as I hit the hardness of his lap. My legs straddled the side of his waist.
"Fuck... I can't... I need you, Kehlani. I need you now."
He gripped my neck as I looked at him and his eyes shone an emerald beauty. I gasped at his actions and I felt his excitement below me, poking my warm area. The door creaked as Trevor stood up and helped me stand straight. My heart beating fast again. I whimpered as he placed me on my feet. I closed my eyes, feeling the presence of my mates in the same room as I. I looked to my right to see Aaron standing in front of the door. I stepped back and sat on the side of the bed, breathing out a heavy sigh. Before I knew it I was pinned to the hospital bed with my wrists held by a large hand on each side.
"W-what are you guys doing!" I exclaimed as I tried to get out of their hold.
"We're just marking what's ours, babygirl." Aaron deep and raspy voice said aloud.
I whimpered as my body shook.
A long life indeed.
Beauty with no beast.
