Kehlani's POV

The doctor walked away as she went to the front desk. Aaron, Trevor and I are in the waiting room waiting for whatever it is is wrong with JJ.

A nurse walked out holding a clipboard with a but of papers connected to it and walking towards us.

"Ms. Sanchez, we came back with the results and it seems that your child is ready to be born within a few days or a week."

My eyes widened.

"What?!" I exclaimed.

People around us looked my way.

I cleared my throat.

"Apologies, um, how is that possible?" I push a strand of hair behind my ear.

She flips the page which she was earlier looking at and reads what was written or typed down.

"It seems your child has grown faster than any normal pup. He was born with more than just a regular power, ma'am."

I sighed and sat back down. I whimpered and rubbed my stomach softly.

I looked up at Trevor.

It'll be fine, that little pup just wants to be out of there and sucking on your-

Trev!

Sorry! I'm horny right now, can we get this over with?

I rolled my eyes and quickly thanked the woman and signed myself out of the hospital.

*at the pack house*

Trevor got out of the car and held the door open for me to get out. My body felt sweaty and I started to get anxious just looking at the house.

"A-Are you sure it's okay for me to go in? I mean if people are bothered by my presence then I can get a hotel or something and I can-"

"Lani."

Aaron stood in front of the door holding out his hand. I grabbed it and he helped me out of the car.

"You'll be fine. I ordered for no one to bother us for today and tomorrow. I just want you to have some time to get comfortable again." He rubbed your cheek with his thumb.

"You didn't have to do that, I-"

"Kehlani!" A female voice shrieked.

I turned my head smiling, knowing the voice. The little boy ran to me and hugged me tightly. I smiled and patted his head.

"Hey there."

He poked my belly.

"I heard you hurt my auntie Kehlani, when you get out I'm gonna-"

"Woah, woah, woah, okay there, go back inside, auntie Kehlani needs some sleep."

The child ran back inside, tripping on the way in.

I looked at Aaron, "I'm scared." My eyes threatening to pour.

He shook his head.

"It's okay, if you ever need us you can mind link us or-"

Riiiiiing

I looked at Trevor's pocket and he pulled out his phone. He answered and he pushed his hand in a motion for us to go in the house as he followed behind.

"Aaro- Alpha. We have an urgent meeting in 30 minutes with a few other Alpha's, they're waiting in the pack office."

Aaron nodded and helped me up the stairs of the porch. The door opened and I dare not look anyone in the eye. Gasps were heard from around the room.

"Lani!" I heard Jane's voice.

"Oh I'm so glad you're okay, you need to tell me what happened!"

I smiled and opened my mouth to speak but Aaron cut me off.

"I said no one is to disturb her. She needs her rest." He held the midst of my back.

She nodded and bowed her head walking away before smiling at me.

I poured and walked up the stairs.

"I got it from here guys, I'm gonna take a shower and just... I don't know."

The two nodded and stayed at the bottom of the stairs. I walked up holding the railing, making my way to my bedroom.

*after the shower and nap*

I was in the kitchen, scouting for food when I heard shuffling from outside of the kitchen. The last time I checked it was 1 in the morning and nobody's usually awake at this time. I looked through the doorway and saw nothing but the darkness from the other room. I shrugged and continued looking for something of my liking. Another shuffle was heard. I started to feel anxious.

Aaron? Are you awake?

(No response)

Trev, are you awake?

(No response)

I've already lost my appetite. I grabbed a kitchen knife as quietly as I could.

'Oh please don't hurt me.' I thought to myself.

The wooden floor creaked from right outside the doorway. I saw an outline of a person. No. No!

"J-Jake?" My voice trembled with fear as I clutched the knife tightly.

I sat under the counter and clutched the knife in my hands tighter than I ever could without breaking it.

Lan?

I gasped and tears fled out of my eyes.

"You can't be here, you're not real!"

"Oh but I am."

His voice echoed throughout the kitchen.

"How did you get in?"

"I just you know, walked in. Seems like your friends don't lock the door very much."

I smacked my face. And again and again.

"Lani?" I looked up and Trevor was sitting in front of me.

I was in my room. I looked around and in the bathroom.

"I- he was here!"

"Who was here?"

"Jake!"

His eyebrows narrowed and he looked at me as if I was crazy.

"If he was, he would have to get through the security system and the guards outside. Don't worry. C'mon back to sleep." He patted the bed.

I whimpered and crawled in next to him as he patted my head and ran his fingers through my hair. I started to drift off when my door was slammed open. A loud gasped was heard. I sat up and turned my head seeing Trevor's girlfriend. I groaned and sat up.

"So much for fucking resting." I looked at Trevor and his eyes held a sad look.

"Just get through this night, hopefully she'll leave you the fuck alone cause she's annoying!" I snapped my head her way and her face still held an angry look.

She scoffed and walked away. I sighed and rubbed my eyes.

"I'll see you in the morning, hun. Get some sleep." He kissed my hair and walked out closing the door gently.

I sighed and laid back.

It's gonna be a looooong life.
