Kehlani's POV

I started having contractions a few days ago and they've only been getting worse and worse the more I try to contain. I've been in and out of the hospital each day hoping this pup was ready to come out but the doctors said I would know when it would be time. Now here I am having contractions in the middle of the stairs while nobody's home. Everyone was sent to the pack office to do things I wouldn't know about. I've been mind linking everyone I know to get to me as soon as possible before I lost my mind. It started to sting and my body felt like collapsing. I screamed and clutched onto the metal railing. My body was giving up on me. I grunted as I slowly made my way down the stairs. I tried putting on shoes but I just couldn't take the pain. I grabbed the phone and called the hospital. They said they'd be 10 minutes but I didn't have fucking ten minutes! I cried as I couldn't take it anymore I sat on the floor and I leaned again the wall near the door.

Trevor the... I'm just gonna go to sleep for a little bit.

Kehlani no! I'm on my way! I can make it there in time! Just stay strong for me, okay? Talk to me! Talk to me!

The baby... he wants to come out but... I'm too tired. I'm just gonna close my eyes for a little bit...

No, Lani, listen! You need to stay awake. I'm right outside! Just hold o-

My body fell to the floor. I looked up to the ceiling and black dots started to cover my vision. Everything was just so blurry and I couldn't hear or feel much. I was just... so tired.

Lan- i are y- come- up!

I closed my eyes. I felt my body lift off the ground and hurried to somewhere.

"Trevor...?"

"Yes- I- here- Lani!"

"Mm... I'm tired, Trev..."

"I know, Lan but you gotta..."

His voice faded out before I could the rest of his sentence.

I felt the car moving. Very fast actually. Was this a dream? Maybe I'm sleeping right now. Haha... ugh I'm so tired... why am I tired? I can't move. What's happening? Maybe I just need to close my eyes to wake up again, right? Yeah let's go with that.

I closed my eyes and I felt myself drift away.

*at the hospitalllll*

Beep Beep Beep Beep Beep Beep Beep Bee-

I groaned and opened my eyes. I looked around and saw a... hospital room? Agh, my stomach- oh no! My baby! What happened? I looked to my left to see Trevor. Trevor? Where's everybody else?

"Tre- Trev- Trevor, hey..." I stuttered to get the words out.

He groaned and looked up. He gasped and sat up.

"You're awake! Oh babe, you're awake!"

"What happened?"

His smile faded and he sat back down.

"You were having contractions and no one was around to help you. You mind linked everyone but no one could get to you in time. I was the only one who could be able to come and help you. So I did. I ran red lights, I was speeding, I did as much as I could to get to you. But you were telling me that you were tired and that you needed to go to sleep and I just panicked and I got out of my car to see you on the floor. And now here we are."

"Thank you, but where's JJ?"

"He's getting checked. He'll be back in a few minutes. Everyone's been trying to get here but there's too much of us that there are only very few visitors each hour." He rubbed his face.

I grabbed his hand. "You need to get some sleep. I'll be fine. If a nurse or doctor comes in I can always wake you up."

"I'm fine, I'm just glad you're okay. They had to do a csection on you. But there was any trouble. You healed yourself, nothing but a small scar. See?"

He pulled the blanket up revealing my stomach which was now smaller than the usual size.

"Can you please get the doctor to hurry up and let me see my son?"

He nods and makes his way out of the door.

Kehlani? Are you there?

A voice mind linked me. I looked around the room and raised my brow.

Yes. Who's this?

It's Aaron. I'm on my way there just wait for me.

I rolled my eyes.

Just don't come, you're too late already.

I don't care. I'm coming.

I scoffed and blocked him out of my head. Trevor walked in with a clipboard just like the one a few days ago.

"Nurse told me to get you to fill this out while she's helping another patient."

I nodded and reached my hand out to complete the empty document.

It read the biological mother and father. My heart pounded for a second. Jake. Oh, Jake. I wish you could've been here. Even if I was  mad or we left on the wrong note. I really wish you were to here to see your son even though I've not seen him yet. I started to write and fill out the empty lines which needed the information of me and JJ. I left the biological father part empty... for now. I handed it back to Trevor with a smile. He looked at it and back at me.

"You need to-"

"I know. I'm just not ready yet."

He nods and heads to the door.

"Be right back, hun."

He walked out with the door closing behind him.

A few minutes later a few soft knocks were heard on the door. I looked and the door opened to a sweaty and gasping Aaron. He looks at me sighs, making his way to me.

"I'm so glad you're okay!"

He pulled me into his arms and embraced me in a warm hug. The places he touched felt electric, I was sure he felt it too. My lip trembled as I clutched his body onto mine. He chuckled and kissed my head softly.

"I'm sorry." I mumbled.

He pulled away, I already ached for his touch. His eyebrows narrowed as he looked at me.

"For what?"

"For when I scratched you. It was just-"

"You don't have to say sorry for that! I- I was the one who... choked you. I'm sorry, I don't know what came over me."

My head fell low and tears were spilling out of my eyes.

He lifted my chin to look at him, his face held a smirk on his face.

"What?" I pushed a strand of hair behind my ear.

"You were right."

My right brow raised in curiosity and I looked at him confused.

His hand trailed down to my neck and he soon grabbed my neck in his large hand. He came closer to me next to my ear.

"I do want to choke you in bed."

My eyes widened as I gulped loudly. I felt my face heat up. There were no more tears. All I felt now was a twisting feeling form in my stomach. He laughed and kissed my forehead.

"You're such an ass, Aaron."

A voice said from behind Aaron's large figure. I gulped once again knowing the voice.

"Hey, little sis."
