We all let Derek go, trying to get what we needed out of Kate before it was too late. I followed his heat signature with my angel eyes through the temple and watched as he made it outside, collapsing against the building. He is safe there for now. I knew Stiles was continuing to scream in the werejaguar's face, but I couldn't focus on the interrogation. Something else is wrong, but I don't think it's here. Suddenly Sam's prayer entered my thoughts and my body froze.
'Cas! Cas we need you!' I heard, his tone desperate and panicky. Dread filled my body at the sound of his prayer.
"Cas? Cas what is it?" Dean asked in concern. He came to stand in from of me as his eyes searched my face for some clue. I gulped.
"Sam," I answered, unable to keep the worry out of my voice. That's all it took for Dean's face to change from worry to fear and anger. Nothing mattered more to him, and me, than Sam. Except maybe each other. But it was all pretty even... the three of us would each die for the other, no questions asked. I was feeling the need to leave, now, and make sure that he's alright as much as Dean was.
"Take us," Dean demanded, grabbing my arm as his face hardened. He glanced back to Stiles. "I need to make sure he's safe," Dean said, an underlying plea in his words.
The werefox nodded. "Go!" He said, making a shooting motion with his hands. I transported Dean and I immediately, trying to get a feel for Sam's exact location. I found it, no angel wards were involved, thank father. We got in no problem. I just hoped the 8 minutes it took to get from Mexico to Beacon hills wasn't too long, that we weren't too late. I would never be able to forgive myself, and neither would Dean.
We landed in the middle of a battle. There were at least 8 men armed to the teeth, shooting automatic weapons at the pack. They were all wearing military gear, moving like soldiers would. I quickly relocated Dean to behind an overturned table to protect him from the bullets as my eyes searched for Sam.
Dean's hand was on my arm, "Find Sam," he said quickly, his beautiful eyes full of worry. I nodded and went back to scanning the large industrial building for the younger Winchester.
When I found him I immediately appeared beside him. He was busy fighting off one of the military style attackers, but they were hand to hand now. I stepped up behind the man and pressed my fingers to his temple, knocking him unconscious. His body fell to the floor ungraciously, and Sam sagged with relief when he caught sight of me.
"Cas!" He said happily, and then ducked behind a wall again, pulling me along. My hands ran along his body, making sure he wasn't injured. "Cas, I'm okay!" Sam said, shoving my hands away gently. "The bullets are wolfsbane! Peter and Liam were shot," he explained quickly.
"What do you need me to do?" I asked seriously. I scanned the room again and found the two injured pack members. Liam was laying on the ground behind a desk, and Peter was propped up against a wall. Both of their breaths were laboured, that I could hear from here.
"Get them to Deaton's," Sam said urgently.
"Deaton's?" I asked. We hadn't been there yet, but I remember Scott saying that this 'Deaton' was their pack emissary. Emissary usually just means a representative, but in the packs case I think he's supposed to be a healer and protector.
"The vet clinic on the other side of town," Sam clarified. That was a good enough description for me. But before I disappeared, I looked at Sam fondly.
"Find Dean, he's worried," I said, and Sam gave me a smile and a nod before jumping back into the action.
I appeared in front of Peter first, making him jump and swear in surprise. I scooped him up in my arms and immediately flew him to the only vet clinic I could find in town. I made my appearance in the middle of an operation room of sorts. A dark skinned man nearly jumped out of his skin, before his eyes fell on Peter in my arms. Surprise was replaced with concern.
