After noticing Patrick was smiling, I stopped eating the pizza. I wasn't hungry anymore, maybe it was that, or seeing the rest of them eat like pigs. Either way, my appetite was fineato. On the TV, they were watching some weird cartoon that I didn't understand, or bother to understand for that matter. I give Patrick my pizza, and he looks at me funny. "Why don't you want it?" He asks concerned.

"I'm not that hungry." My reply suits him and he continues watching the tele. I can't help but feel like Elisa leaving was my fault, what if Patrick never brought me here, would it be different? Would they still be together? He described their marriage happily, completely in love, until the end. However, that all changed when I came, now Patrick is upset.

Pushing thoughts aside, I turn my attention to the TV. It's a love scene showing, uh-oh. There was a man, walking in the park with his, what I assume to be, his girlfriend. Near an area of trees, the man stops walking, causing the girl to stop as well. "Eleanor, we've been together for a while, and I really care about you." He pauses and goes down on one knee, holding a tiny box, putting it out to the girl, slowly opening it. "Will you marry me?" A tear slips from Eleanor eyes. "Oh William, of course I will."

Then Pete immediately shuts off the TV. Wow, that was a cliché cartoon with a love scene. Everyone's attention turns to Patrick, who is obviously trying to hold back tears. "Patr-" Joe tries to say, but Patrick is gone, darting up the stairs slamming the door. We hear muffled cries, and faint whispers through the ceiling. Dang it cartoon and your stupid sappy love story.

There was only one decision that could be made, I ran after Patrick, my father. Now, where is his room? To find it, I follow the sounds of cries, until I get to a door where it's the loudest. "Dad, are you in this room or the other one?" There was no answer, not a sound from this room, or the other room. Until, there were footsteps coming closer to the door, then Dad opened it. His face tear stained, and eyes red and puffy. Without hesitation, I give him a hug, at first, he is taken aback, but then hugs me back. "It's going to be okay, dad." I whisper to him, but there was no response.

We just stand there, hugging each other, feeling the splatter of tears on the top of my head. "Everything okay?" Andy asks us. "Yeah. I'll be down in a minute. Amber, go with Andy." I nod and go downstairs. My dad cried, because his wife left, the day after I came, and we aren't sure why. The guys are sitting on the couches, looking at me to the point where I can feel the intensity. Part of me wanted to cry, but I knew I couldn't, there was no reason for it. However, a tear reluctantly flows down my cheek, and I quickly wipe it away hoping that no one noticed. With the way they're looking at me, it seems like they did.

"Come here." Pete motions me to sit next to him, and hugs me while I cry into his shoulder. "It's okay kiddo, this isn't your fault you know." He tries to comfort me, even though I still believe that this is my fault. Either way, I go along with what he's saying, continuing to cry. Eventually, I stop and let go, lifting up my head. "Sorry." I mumble.

"There's no need to apologize." Pete reassures me.

"He's right you know." Dad was standing next to Joe, smiling. "Don't worry about it." I nod and stand up, standing next to Pete instead of sitting. Not being wanted his become a natural feeling since I've been in the orphanage, so it shouldn't bother me anymore, to prove it further, I put on a smile.

"Hey, why don't we go to the carnival, it's only ten minutes away." Pete cleverly suggests, nothing can go wrong at the carnival. Since all of us are already dressed, we hop in the car, Andy driving the ten minutes. When we get to the carnival, its full of rides, games, and balloons. I haven't been to a carnival in a couple of years, so this is going to be really fun.

It's five dollars each to get in, not that bad of a price compared to some of the other prices I've seen. Excitedly I, along with everyone else, run into the FunLand. This place was big, I'm talking alien sized here. "So, what are we going to do first?" I ask jumping. Dad puts his hand on my head.

"Calm down jumping bean." I chuckle and he looks around. "How about we start with some games." We agree and go to the game where you have to shoot water in a clowns mouth; Andy wins the stuffed bear. Then, we go to the Skiball, Joe wins a weird flower thing. "Dude, what even is that?" I confusingly ask.

"Beats me, I thought it looks cool though." He smiles, guarding the flower with his life, why he does this, the only logical answer, he's Joe. We stay there for around an hour playing games, the lines for the rides were long and none of us had the patients to wait on them. It was around 6:00 when we decided to call it a night. All of us get in the car, and drive home. There's small talk about something I don't bother to understand, when I feel my eyes getting heavy. I've gotten a little better with cars, it's only my mind that flips now. As I feel my eyes getting heavier and heavier, I find myself falling asleep.
