two: tomorrow

"It'll all become yesterday anyway so what's the use?
I wanted to become happy and strong but why am I getting weaker?"

Jimin and Zelda are flowers indeed.

Jungkook knows exactly why they're opening the previously closed florist again. it's the place where their love began and they want it to stay, be remembered and run as a business, even if it's small and unsuccessful. they're passionate about flowers and making things grow.

including him.

Jungkook can't help but admire the couple and their young love. their excitement of opening the florist beside his cafe is evident.

he's excited too, he feels when he reaches up to hang the banner. Flores in Love in pink calligraphy, for the people of the streets to see and hopefully grab their distracted attention. Jungkook sincerely hopes the business works well and even if it doesn't, he'll know Jimin and Zelda will be delighted.

"i'm excited for you guys."

Jimin smiles, it reaches his eyes before his pink lips turn upwards. they head inside the florist after admiring the banner for a while. the boy runs his hands through his blonde locks, prince charming energy radiating off him. "it's romantic right?" he can't stop smiling as he thinks of his wife. "the place we first met and now our own business." Jimin wants to carry on the tradition as his old manager is unfit to run the florist.

he's determined to win people's hearts with flowers.

"here, take this flower for the cafe."

"thanks man." Jungkook nods in acknowledgement and takes the beautiful, red rose. it's delicate yet his hand clenches around the stem, feeling the pricking of its body. his attention has suddenly turned to the rose entirely and Jimin notices.

"we have competition you know."

"who?"

"it's you." Jimin chuckles.

"oh shit yeah."

Jimin nudges Jungkook as they laugh. Jungkook doesn't catch the way the older looks at him in concern. he hasn't seen him laugh or smile genuinely in a long time and he misses his best friend. sometimes, he wishes his hugs were the cure for his melancholia.

but there is only so much a friend can do. heartbreak is incurable.

"no one will come here but that's okay... i have my Zelda." Jimin sighs in pleasure as he leans against the counter. he remembers the several times he served customers and feels excited to be doing it again with his wife. working at the florist didn't feel like a job, it felt like a pleasant hobby that earned him cash and confidence. although him and Zelda are both busy with their daily jobs, they'll be capable to run the small business with helpful Jin and Namjoon and other hired help.

Jungkook nods and leaves to go to his business next door. he needs a distraction from the feeling that sits in his chest. the boy feels too uncomfortable standing with joyous Jimin as he talks about his wife. he quietly listens everyday and blesses his friends but he's not used to the fact that many of his friends are happy with their lovers and here he is... unhappy with his and wanting to be with another. he feels left behind.

it's been years kookie, when will you move on?

"i'm going to go test this out." black haired Jungkook bumps into Zelda on his way out as she wanders into the florist. she smiles at him, waving her pregnancy test in his face.
