nine: my time

"Don't know what to do with, am I livin' this right?
Why am I alone in a different time and space?"

Talulah walks slowly, hiding a smile before knocking her shoulder into Taehyung's.

Taehyung pulls his cheeks into his mouth, holding back his giggly laughter as he waits for the perfect opportunity to knock his shoulder into his girlfriend.

he succeeds, arms crossing across his chest covered in a sweater. he walks past with a giddy smile.

memories of school flash back to the couple as they walk along the street, forgetting that Elianna is with them. she eyes them both, getting more annoyed as each second passes. shoulder bumping seriously?

Elianna glares at them, watching the two continue to be playful. she can't help but walk along, dodging their actions as she holds onto her backpack. she hates hanging out with them because they're so loved up with giggles and cuddles. it makes her sick yet there's a tiny part of her that likes how happy they remain as the years pass.

"you guys are disgusting." Elianna huffs, blowing a strand out of her face as she walks ahead. "fucking make me sick-" she mutters, deciding to focus on her leather boots.

Talulah grins, pulling Taehyung backwards by his sweater. "you were the same with Jungkook." she mentions, giving her female friend a knowing look with raised eyebrows.

"yeah whatever."

the three of them are on their way to dance rehearsals. fortunately, there's only one to attend. Shira's wedding preparation involves all of them, all the boys and girls. some of the friends are joyous, like Taehyung but some are full of complaints like Elianna. she can't help but wear a frown on the way and rant to her friends.

"why are we dancing?" Elianna groans. she doesn't want to dance. she just wants to attend the wedding, see her best friend get married to a boy who doesn't approve of her and just eat. why can't they just dance freely? what's the need for a dance routine?

what are they, a band?

"it's just a slow dance, it's not that hard." Taehyung says, walking in between Talulah and Elianna as he shrugs. his hand is in his girlfriend's as he tries to reassure his friend. Elianna may complain and glare but he knows that she needs to and that's okay.

"chill out Taehyung, just because you can dance." she's seen him dance and although, he's grown over the years, a part of him still doesn't believe he's that good of a dancer. Elianna wishes he could see what she sees- a more than good enough dancer.

"oh come on El." Taehyung beams. "you're a good dancer."

"twirl with me." he takes Elianna's hand unexpectedly and pulls her ahead, trying to twirl her as her backpack falls off her shoulder. he attempts to dance with her despite her annoyed looks and Elianna pushes him away with a no. she loves him, she really does.

so the boy twirls Talulah instead.

"i just don't know why Shira is making a big deal of making us all dance." Elianna sighs again. she doesn't realise she's stomping her boots as her backpack keeps falling off her shoulder. "i'd gladly go to her dance rehearsals but why are we all practicing a simple dance for a wedding that isn't ours? but i guess it's to make her happy so what can i say?" she voices her thoughts.

as Elianna walks along with her close friends, her frustration vanishes when she sees Es outside of the studio. the tough looking female immediately softens as she runs towards her, trapping her in her arms. "hi love!" she greets, backpack falling from her shoulder. she can't help but squish the younger even if it's crinkling her dress.
