Mirrors Look Back
Mirrors are dangerous, and that's a fact
'Cause sometimes the reflections look back.It might not be obvious, but it's there
Creatures watch you everywhere. They scratch, they bite, full of spite-
Claws and fangs and scary bangs. But don't you ever, ever, touch the glass
Because once they're here they can't go back.Touch is they key that opens the door
Then surely, surely, you'll be no moreThe monsters, the people, they see through
They can see whatever you doSo when you sing, when you dance,
Give your mirror another glanceYou might just find
Someone's eyes
Begging you to
touch the glass
Because
they love you
And can see through
Your lies.
__________Mirror, Mirror, on the wall
I know I'm not the best of them all.Mirror, Mirror, tell me please
Why it's fun to torment me.Mirror, Mirror, please obey
I think that I am not okayMirror, Mirror, is that me?
Or just who I pretend to be?Mirror, Mirror, what is true?
Why do I even talk to you?I guess you make me feel not so small
My sweet mirror, mirror, on the wall.____________
Overcome the glum 💫
