Chapter 6: Cowbot

(Thiri's P.O.V)

As the others were playing "Coconut Hurl", I was reading a book I picked up at the library about fairy tales. Sonic then said, "Thiri, do you wanna join us?" I responded, "No thanks, you guys have fun." 

I then continued reading until I saw Dr. Eggman come out from a large storm cloud, but I ignored him, not caring for his nonsense. I then heard a cow, but I continued reading. Dr. Eggman then said, "Arrgh! Pay attention, you little rodent!" I yawned, and I moved my tuft of the out of my eyes. Eggman then said, "Ahh, here it is now! This. Is. Cowbot!" Everyone but me started laughing, and I then tuned out what was going on, until Sonic then pounced on me! We both blushed, and Sonic then picked me up and put me on his shoulder, running around as a blur, making it difficult for me to see anything. 

We then hid in a bush, and a missile then hit a coconut tree, making five coconuts fall to the ground.

Knuckles then shouted helplessly, "MY RECORD!"

Amy then said, "If we can't smash that thing, what can we do?"

Tails then said, "Looks like there's an access panel on top. If I can get to it, maybe I can reprogram Cowbot."

Knuckles then said, pounding his fists together, "Time to tip this cow!"

Sonic then said, "I'll distract him!"

Sonic then ran last Cowbot, it firing missiles at him, and the rest of us then ran to Cowbot, ready to push it over, on the count of three.

Once we were ready, everyone but me shouted "Three!", except Knuckles, who messed up, but he quickly corrected himself.

We then tipped the cow over, and Tails then flew to the access panel, and he then opened it and rewired Cowbot, and milk then shot out of it's utters, and one of the streams of milk then struck me in the face, some getting in my mouth, and forcing its way down my throat.

My stomach then growled, and Sonic then said, "Are you ok, Thiri?"

I responded in a uneasy tone, "...I'm allergic to raw milk..."

I then ran to a bush and threw up violently, coughing and trying to catch my breath.

Once I was done, I then suddenly felt lightheaded and dizzy, and I passed out!

Once I came to, I saw that I was outside of Eggman's lair, and everyone was roasting marshmallows. I then stood up to say something, but I then said, "You know what? Fine." Eggman then handed me a marshmallow on a stick, and I then stuck it in the campfire, and I then took it out of the flames and blew on it, and then stuck it in my mouth. 

I then felt my face swelling up, and I then said, "...Did you put garlic powder on this marshmallow?"

 Eggman then said, "Is it bad if I say "yes"?" 

 I then shouted, "Son of a-"

I then coughed, and I then chocked on the lack of oxygen, and before I passed out, I heard Eggman say, "Hey, Sonic. Bro to bro. What's up with you and Thiri?" 

His voice echoed in my head before I fainted.

...

I felt a sharp pain in my arm.

I then woke up with a jolt.

I then saw that I was in Amy's house, on her couch, and she was sitting next to me.

She then said, "Oh, good, you're awake!"

 I then said groggily, "What...happened...?"

 She responded, "You were having an allergic reaction, so I used some epinephrine to get you back on your feet."

I then pushed my spine back into place, and I then said, "Thanks. Where are the others?"

 She responded, "Oh, they're outside, waiting for you. Sonic was worried sick!" 

 I then got up and walked out the door, where everyone else was waiting for me.

Sonic then ran up to me and hugged me tightly, and my cheeks turned bright red.

I then thought to myself, "Keep it together, Thiri! You and Sonic are JUST friends. DON'T let this get in the way of your training."

Sonic then let go of me, and I then walked to a tree, and I grabbed onto a branch and did pull-ups, using training to distract my sudden emotions.

I wasn't going to let my feelings intervene with my training.

I ALWAYS have to be battle-ready.
