Chapter 2 : Met the family

After a month and a half, her cravings for blood was getting higher and stronger, it awaken her from a deep sleep. Her symptoms of turning had a light impact with her due to her long time sleep.

They were staying at Hastings, as of now.

She gasps and with her sitting position, she examined the area she's unfamiliar of.

Due to some traits like having strong and enhanced physical senses, she could hear the chats and utters in a distance. The noise piped down and she had herself in steady when the door opened and a throw of pieces of brightly colored papers made her wonder, a lot.

Where is she? Why is she welcomed with confetti? Who are these people around her? ... kissing, giving her a tight hug, greeting her with warm smiles?

"Welcome to the family!" A white girl who's hair is short and most likely a masculine cut and almost blend her body to the white walls. Aerin.

'She looks like having no blood. And she's not the only one.'

Keizia thought while waiting for another word from the white family. They were all merging at the white walls, they looked like hanging clothes and hairs, also teeth because they were smiling.

She couldn't deliver a smile due to the feeling of being overwhelmed. But she managed to ask questions.

"Who are you? Where am I?" In a total mess she asked.

"Did she have amnesia?" Sebrina said fooling around with sarcasm.

There are 4 persons in front of her, Aerin, Kaisle (Aerins partner), Rioma (their mother just to be legal but they were like normal family), and Sebrina, the other one was standing at the door, hands and foot were criss crossed and was leaning to the door frame. He caught Keizia's attention because he doesn't smile and he's darn seriously handsome. Sexy and has a lust appeal.

Keizia felt a little hot temper on her cheeks. It delivered a blush when the man at the door frame walked near her. Seriously glued the eyes on hers.

"You're at your new home. Call it a house if you haven't think of it." He talked with sarcasm but ugh! Hot as Edward Cullen.

She gained her senses and hurriedly stood on her foot and started to walk outside while she's clearing some ideas.

"I'm sorry but, its not the time to fool around like that. Did my mom forced you to get me from the hospital? I knew she wouldn't care about me..." she stopped when she saw a shiny fangs on the smiling lips of the family. "I really should go. Thanks for..." she's examining what she have to thank them about and she has perceived that they were vampires.

It was said that in New Zealand, there are numbers of vampires pretending to be human and silently kill people without any evidence that they did and that any actions they made will never lead to them.

When Aerin offered her a drink. "Take a sip."Keizia was wondering, when did she came out of the room? Or maybe the little white girl earlier had a twin. But its nonsense because obviously, she never used the door to go outside and inside. Its also impossible that she has powers like fading, telekinesis or whatever.

But the smell of the drink got her sense back, from daydreaming of how Aerin go get that drink she offered...

With no hesitation and second thoughts. He gulped the cup of beverage given to her. She has no idea it's blood of a cow and so she asked about it.

"Thanks for this *burp* tasty drink. Whats it called?" She wondered.

"Blood of a freshly slaughtered cow, you moron." Sebrina was rudely mad at her. Her eyes rolled over and her one eyebrow was up and looking seriously mad at Keizia.

Before the answer could register to her brain, she hastily took the way to the restroom and thrown something into the bath tub. Coughing and gargling water from the near faucet, she calm herself down.

'What's really up with this crazy people?' She thought about again.

Kaisle breathed a laugh. He did it loudly, catching her attention.

'Insanely weird.' She added on her thoughts. Keizia stuck herself in the bath room for a moment.

"Are you done throwing up your meal?" Francis asked in a sarcastic but somewhat polite way.

"Ya call that a meal? Doesnt even fit to be called a drink." She protested.

Francis and Kaisle laughed and hi-5 each other. Sebrina was fighting not to burst her laugh and it made her really silly to crack into a late reaction thing.

"Was my word really funny? Huh?" She bumped into Sebrina's shoulder and it made her open her mouth and reveal her sharp and tiny fangs!

She freaked out. She got her mind and adrenalinee into a hot boiling temp, it took them an hour to make it simmer and cool down.

"Are you vampires?" Its an idiotic question of her but she did. She waited for the answer to be delivered.
