Dancing, twirling,
across the kitchen floor,
our laughter roars,
bouncing from the walls
at a speed of light.
A beautiful cadence of
two voices, joyfully singing,
blended in unison.
As the afternoon sunlight
leaps across our
radiant faces.
I feel the warmth of home,
the beating of my heart
in your chest and
mine in yours.
We are safe under the
roof of our love.
Flooded with gratitude,
you are my calm
in the chaos.
