I woke up to the sight of a Gryfinndor room. It wasn't the common room and it wasn't the girls or the boys dorm room.

"Wha- Where am I?" I whispered, sitting up

"You're in my head boy room" a voice said from besides me. I turned and laying next to me was James Potter without a shirt on. My eyes widened and I gasped, immediately looking away. He reached out and turned my head to face him using his index finger and thumb. He was sat up now and smirking at me. "Regretting it Y/N?"

"What. I- I don't remember anything" I admitted with a bit of a stutter, looking down to see I was in his shirt.

"That's surprising"

"I'm joking Y/N. We didn't do anything last night ok. The reason you're in here is because you had been helping me with some last minute homework and before we knew it, it was past curfew and you were already half asleep. I gave you one of my shirts to sleep in and we both passed out. I swear"

"I'm going to choose to believe you even though I don't fully believe you" I tutted and climbed out of the bed. I walked down into his head boy room and fell into a daze. I had forgotten that these common rooms came equipped with a kitchen and everything. I got myself a glass of water and sat on the couch trying to tell whether or not James was telling the truth or not.

"Want something to eat since we've missed breakfast?" James asked as he came down into the main room as well, still shirtless. The only thing different was he was wearing jeans and not pyjama bottoms

"James you don't need to ask me if I want food because believe me, I always want food"

"You're such a foodie"

"No, I'm just a human being"

I stood from the couch and helped him with making some breakfast even though we could have so easily gone to the kitchens and stolen food from there. James and I agreed on a fruit salad and he began preparing the apples while I began preparing the oranges. He finished first and wrapped his arms around my waist, hugging me from behind

"James we aren't dating you know" I pouted, turning to face him and stealing his glasses

"I know but you have to agree that we would be a cute couple" He smirked. I think anyway I couldn't tell with his glasses sitting on my face

"Mm..yeah we would" I said after a short period of silence in which I was thinking. I took his glasses off and placed them back onto his nose

"Well then why don't we make it a thing. Why don't we become that cute couple we both agree we would be?"

"Are you asking me on a date?"

"Yes. Well more like I was going to ask you if you would be my girlfriend. Y/N will you be my girlfriend?"

"James we've never been on a proper date"

"What about all those times I asked you into Hogsmede with me. Those could be counted as our dates"

"You're not going to let this go are you James"

"No I am not. Y/N will you be my girlfriend?"

"Sure!'

He lifted me up and span us both around. I wrapped my legs around his waist and he placed me onto the kitchen island while locking lips with me. I kissed back and cupped his face, pulling him deeper into the already pretty passionate kiss

"Lily isn't upstairs is she?" I asked, breaking the kiss for a spilt second

"How in Merlins name would I know?" He said in between kisses. I smiled against his lips and he picked me up again before placing me onto the couch.

I took control and broke the kiss before straddling his lap and passionately kissing him. His hand traveled down my back and stopped on my butt with a small squeeze.
