"What the fuck." I said to myself as I was walking along the sidewalk.
"I really messed up."
I kept walking until I got to the nearby Wawa. I went up to the door and two guys standing nearby kept staring at me. I opened the door and the first guy with a brown coat and a scruffy beard whistled at me.
"Hey girly." he says with his loud voice.
I quickly walk inside hearing them laugh loud behind the door.
When I went inside I went straight to the cold drinks and grabbed the Arizona Ice tea, then I grabbed a ceaser chicken wrap and a small bag of Cool Ranch Doritos.
I went straight to the cashier (whom was very attractive) and payed for my stuff.
When I was on my way outside the two guys were still there and did the same thing. I walked quickly till they were out of earshot. I got a little nervous so I glanced back to make sure they weren't following me. Gladly they weren't.
I walked all the way to the state park. there were a lot of people out in the park walking the trail, or at the playground or in the basketball court or even just playing in the big field.
I sat down at a picnic bench in between the trail and basketball court and started to eat my food while I watched the guys play the game. It looked intense, they took it so seriously.
After I got bored of watching them I went in my backpack and took out my mini art-pad and an ink pen and started sketching.
After I took a bite of my chicken wrap I could feel someone's presence behind me, like they were watching.
I ignored it for a while but then a shadow formed over me.
I quickly turned around to see who was behind me. When I turned around I seen a tall boy behind me wearing a blue and turquoise tank-top and black addidas shorts. He looked at me and smiled.
"Excuse me." I said kinda annoyed.
"Oh sorry" he said still smiling "your really good."
He sat down next to me and wiped off some of his sweat with his shirt showing some off his stomach.
"Thanks" I said blushing a little but trying not to show it.
I took a sip of my ice tea and started adding detail to my picture. I could feel him watching me.
"I'm Karan." he said trying to give me a fist pump.
"I'm Carmen" i said accepting his fist pump.
"So," he said trying to keep the conversation going
"So." I repeated back.
I really wasn't in a mood to talk to anyone. Especially with what just happened.
"Wanna be friends?" He asked with a big cheesy smile. I couldn't help but laugh.
"I don't even know you."
"I don't know you much either but I know we would be perfect friends forever then we would fall in love and have weird babies. It's inevitable." he said nodding his head in an assuring way then resting his head on his arm.
I hesitated before talking and just laugh at him.
"You're weird." I said through a chuckle.
"Aren't we all." He said raising his hands in the air. "Even you are too."
"Thanks" I said kind of amused.
"No problemo" he laughed
I took a few bites of the rest of my wrap and crumpled the paper and put it back in the Wawa bag then opened my chips. I offered Karan some. He accepted the offer.
