After my second cigarette I was alarmed by a knock on the door.

"Is someone in here!?" A ladies voice said sounding annoyed. I tried to sound like I was crying.

"Y-yes" i said "I'm coming out n-now"

I threw my cigarette buds in the toilet and flushed. Then I sprayed the air freshener and then sprayed my perfume and put my things in my pocket. Then i quickly but carefully ripped off the duct tape from the smoke alarm, turned on the sink and wet my face and dried with a paper towel.

When I opened the door the lady who had been knocking on the door gave me a look and I could of sworn I heard her curse under her breath and say "took you long enough little baby!" as I walked passed her.

When I got to my seat Axel was already awake.

"Are you okay?" He said with a tired yawn. He must have just woke up.

"Yeah I'm fine" I lied through my teeth.
I still wasn't fine about this whole thing.

"Well we should be there in a few more hours so try to get some sleep." he said while fixing his blankets and started texting.

I sat in my seat and took of my jacket letting my arms free from the tank-top I was wearing and grabbed a small blanket from my bag. I also took out my earphones and plugged them into my phone and put the left earphone in my ear. I put on "Into the maze-John Paesano". I loved classical music most out of all my favorite genres of music. Listening to all the instruments play and it can get emotional because each song has a story and I've always loved that.

As I rolled onto my side facing the window I started to think about what it will be like when I attend my new school.

I don't want to start over, I wished mom never died. I missed her soft hands on my cheek, I missed her dark hair, her beautiful grayish silver eyes that I also have. I miss her in general. Nobody can replace her.

Soon I started feeling tears drip down my face. I tried to wipe them quickly before my brother realizes I was crying but soon I just let them be Until I finally fell asleep.

We arrived in Sacramento, California. Since the time was different it was about 10:39am and it was pretty warm. The drive to LA from Sacramento would take about five hours.

When we got out of the airport Axel got out our bus passes from his bag and we started walking to the bus stop with our luggage right across the street from the airport

There were lots of people coming out of the airport so we had to hurry through the crowd.

When we got to the bus stop there were lots of people waiting and each bus that came through instantly was filled with people.

Finally we could go in the bus. Number 7. We quickly entered the bus and got our passes scanned and took the front seats and placed our luggage in the space in front of us.

"Another long ride" Axel sighed. I laughed.

The hours passed and we Finally reached our aunts house. ( we took a cab after the bus stop) When we got out of the cab I could instantly feel the heat kicking in.

We grabbed our luggage and walked up to the door of the beautiful light tan house. The house was big and had two garage doors and a big yard. In the drive way, was a navy blue Honda. The roof tiles of the house were dark chocolate brown and the windows were shiny. There were three palm trees in the yard and in the back of the house was a brown fence door that lead to the backyard. The houses along the side looked the same except this address said 1828 and the mailbox said 'Cortez residence'.

It took me a moment to react because of the beautiful house. I rang the door bell and it took only a few seconds for our aunt to answer the door.
