Chapter eight

I woke up in the morning from a call. While I picked up my phone I checked the time 5:22am.

"Hello?" I answered tiredly.

"Hey I know it's like really early but I wanted to make sure you were awake so we could get there early." Karan said quickly.

"Oh! Okay I'm gonna get ready now." I said getting up from the bed.

"Great. Also bring a swimsuit and a towel. I mean in case you wanna go in the water." he said the last part shyly.

"Okay sure." I chuckled. "Txt me when you're here."

"Okay I will. See you later." he hung up and I started to get my stuff ready.

I quickly undressed and put on my bathing suit. It was a lime green blending with dark green one piece bathing suit and it wasn't revealing which is what I love about it.

I quickly hopped in my dark grey addida gym shorts and a light grey short sleeve crop top that read L.A. in the front which I got last year. When I put it on you could still see my bathing suit underneath where you would see my stomach.

I grabbed my usual bag and put in a towel, and sunscreen.

I put my phone in my secret pocket in my bag and headed downstairs.

When I went downstairs my Tia was already down there drinking coffee and watching her spanish shows from the kitchen window.

"Hey princesa. Your up so early." she said a little surprised. "Your going anywhere?"

"Yeah," i said while making toast and grabbing some orange juice. "I'm going to the board walk with a friend."

"Ohh." she smirked. "Is it a boy?" She teased.

I laughed

"Yeah but we are just friends."

"Okay, " she chuckled. "but I don't want you home late."

"I won't. We will probably be back by 5:00." I took a big bite of toast.

I chugged the orange juice and finished the last piece of toast and went upstairs to say bye to my brother.

I sprinted upstairs feeling excitement.

When I reached my brothers door I slowly opened it and knocked twice.

Axel was still in bed sleeping. He lifted his head and opened his eyes tiredly.

"Good morning." I said quietly.

I through my body on him and hugged him.

"Mmmm.. Get off.." he said trying to get out of my tight grip. I got off and sat next to him.

He sat up and wiped his eyes.

"You can be a pain in my ass sometimes," he laughed "where you goin so early."

"I'm going to the boardwalk with a friend."

"A friend? Let me guess.. it's a boy you just met."

"Pssh .. No." i said looking away.

"Carmen, I know you. It is a boy you just met."

"So what." i shot at him.

"Carmen you need to be careful. You always get so attached to people. When he leaves you will be devastated ."

"Axel we are just friends."

"Yeah .. you say that now but soon your gonna be all close to him and then you two will be boyfriend and girlfriend and all lovey"

"That won't happen this time. At least this time I'll get to know him longer. I won't go straight for it."

"Okay fine, but be careful. I don't want what happened last time to happen aga-"

"It won't happen!" I interrupted.

I knew what Axel was about to tell me. The last time I met a boy, we instantly got together. My relationships always started like that. I get so desperate in wanting someone to love me. The last time I had a relationship me and the boy were getting close in our relationship he talked me into having sex. I got pregnant that time. The baby was only three months in my stomach but When we got me checked out the doctor said the baby wouldn't make it once it was born and it died on the sixth month. I was devastated. Not only because my first baby was gone but because my boyfriend left me alone. I know Axel is only looking out for me but I won't let that happen again.

"Sorry, but I promise It won't happen." i said, my head low.

"I believe you." he said giving a warm smile and gave me a hug.

"Okay well I gotta start heading downstairs. He'll be here soon." I said getting up.

"Have fun." Axel said while getting out his bed and opening his curtain which instantly brightened up the room.

"I will" I said hugging him bye.

"But don't have too much fun." he joked

"Shut up. I'll be back by 5:00 so call me if I'm late." I walked to the door. "love you."

"Love you too." he smiled and I headed downstairs.

When I grabbed my bag my phone suddenly vibrated.

Karan: Im outside come out

Me: im comin

"Bye!!" I shouted out to my aunt.

"Have fun." she shouted back.

After that I closed the door and sort of skipped to Karan's car.

OMG to be honest i think this chapter sucked but i hope you like it. its not the best but im trying to come up with things later in the story.
