Valerie's POV
I see some teenagers having fun and moving round my happy place. As I begin to walk away my eyes click with one of the guys there and then he begins towards me.
I don't really know how to socialize with my peers so I keep running.

I hear the male voice call my attention and sense a hand on my shoulder. I turn around to face him not knowing what to say.
" Excuse me" I told my arms so I could look threatening.

"I just wanted to ask why you looked worried seeing me and my friends here" he says with gesture.
I actually feel really uncomfortable talking and I realize his hand is still on my shoulder.

"Well, for starters" I take his hand away and give it an effortless push.
"And second of all, this place is already taken and I think you and your friends should leave"

I try to look less annoyed than I am. I can't trade this place to anyone or anything except Chinedu of course, even if it means me telling them to leave because it's the one place I care about.

He raises his hand in surrender and I feel slightly relaxed that he has decided to give up but my face remains blank of emotions.
He looks at me for a while.

"I didn't see your name anywhere here" he says and I'm slightly shocked and disappointed to the fact that he isn't giving up.

I'm so fortunate to have inscribed my name one of the trees and I point to it feeling an atom of pride.
"It's clearly written on the tree by your side".

He looks at the tree reminiscing on something and I guess he'll stay off the property.

"It still doesn't mean you have ownership of this scenery, it only means you have ownership of the tree here"  *cringe* he taps the tree pulling a hideous smirk on his face.

Why doesn't he understand that he should leave. I speak to my thoughts.

I'm so angry that I spit out words
" You have no manners you-you troublemaker!" and I turn to leave.

I can't believe that I'm going to leave the only place where I could be sane. I feel bitter inside.

Suddenly I feel a hand on mine and when I turn he takes it out immediately.

" Okay look va-le-rie" he emphasizes the words and I could care less.

"We can actually share this place you know?, then none of us will have to leave"
I keep my gaze on the tree I inscribed on and I really know how I feel about sharing the place.

I'm not going to allow anyone make this place different for me.

"Fine but there should be a division and a set of rules" I say without looking him in eye. I don't like attention on me

"Agreed, so we can make the division tommorow then" he says expecting an answer while I'm still contemplating.

"If that's okay with you" he raises his hand for a handshake but I don't need any formalities.

"Agreed" I say leaving and as I head back home. I wonder how my life will be sharing my place of sanity

Okay guys, I wanted you all to know how they both felt during the conversation and that's why it's in the form of two chapters.
