The morning rays bled into the suite the newlyweds were staying in. A new day was ready to greet them.

Kaana woke up groggy, but well rested. Sitting up, she groaned as she stretched her arms up. She hadn't had a decent night sleep since before her second trimester. Letting a contented sigh leave her lips, that was when she noticed that she was the only one in, "Huh? Where's Garou? Garou?" she called out to him, but there was no answer.
Worried that she might've overslept, she grabbed the clock that sat on the night stand and looked at the time. It was barely 9 am. Perplexed as to where her husband might've gone at this time, she placed the clock back in its rightful spot.
"Well, I guess I should unpack my things," Kaana swung her legs over the side of the bed, now facing the window sill and where their bags rested. She stood up, unzipped her bag and started to take out a few articles of clothing to wear for the day. As she went through her things, she stopped for moment. At the bottom of the bag was a flimsy package, whatever was inside wrapped in brown paper. Kaana pulled it from its hiding place and held it up to inspect it, "What is this?" as she flipped it over, she saw a little note.
She plucked it from the paper and read it to herself.

I thought this might come in handy. Have fun.

She placed the note down, and looked at the package again curiously, "I wonder what it could be?" she ripped the paper open and right away, she knew what it was and she smiled. They were at a tropical resort, so it only made sense, right?

Garou opened the door to their suite. That morning, he had gotten up early and decided to get some training in, hoping it'd take his mind of things. Since Kaana was so out of it, he just let her sleep in. While he was at it, he scouted out the whole perimeter of the resort, making sure there weren't any monsters that would come around and ruin their day.
Upon entering the suite, he was greeted with a cart full of food, but he didn't see Kaana anywhere.
"Kaana?" he shut the door behind him as he gazed around the suite.
In the distance, he could hear her muffled voice behind another door, "I'm in the shower! I'll be out soon!"
Garou decided to peruse the assortment of food while he waited for her.
Not ten minutes later, Kaana exited the bathroom, cleaned and dressed in a blue skirt and teal T-shirt. Right away, Kaana saw Garou sitting in the kitchen, taking a bite out of an apple.
Kaana sighed to herself, 'He's has that look again,' referring to the off in the distance look, 'What's bothering him? Is he worried about something that I should be aware of? I really hope he's not keeping something important from me.'
Kaana decided to try and put the worrisome thoughts aside, so she can enjoy this time alone with him. It was then that Garou noticed her standing a little ways from him. He looked her way, "What?" he questioned, seeing that she was just standing and not saying anything.
Kaana realized that she had been caught staring, so she smiled in hopes to brush it off, "Oh, I was just thinking about what we should do today. We're on the shore; do you want to go to the beach?"
"Maybe another day. I ain't exactly keen on getting sand in the wrong places, right now," Garou quipped, making Kaana giggle.
"The pool, then?" Kaana suggested, walking closer to the table.
Garou thought about it, then replied, "I didn't see a bunch of people over there, so I guess that's fine."
"Great! Then, we can find a place to go to lunch!" Kaana beamed at him. Garou gave a nonchalant shrug in reply. Kaana just smiled, knowing he doesn't show his enthusiasm as well as she does. Perhaps, a day out will help take his mind off of whatever he was worried about.

The sounds of laughter, water splashing and people conversing emanated through the air. It was closer to the afternoon now as the couple walked along the perimeter of the pool.
Kaana, wearing the clothes she had on, held a beach bag filled with towels and sunblock. Garou had on a simple white T-shirt and black swim trunks.
They spotted a pair of free lounge chairs with a beach umbrella providing a decent amount of shade. Kaana went to place her towel on one. Garou just plopped himself down and folded his hands behind his head, doing what the name of the chair entailed. Lounging.
Kaana gave him a side glance as he shut his eyes, giving no indication that he was going to in the pool anytime soon, "You're not going in?"
"I'm relaxing. I'll go in when I feel like it," Kaana just gave a slight pout at his answer, but let it go.
Just then, a smirk crept onto her face and she said sweetly, "Alright, I guess I'll just have to go by myself," she then proceeded to pull her shirt up and over her head.
Garou, when he heard this, lazily opened one eye to peak at her. When he did, he opened both eyes upon seeing Kaana as she pulled her skirt off. Under her clothes was a baby blue bikini, it being held together by simple string. It emphasized her curves and her top hugged her breasts snugly. A perfect fit.
Eyes widening a fraction, head turned to fully gawk, Garou wondered where the hell she got that swimsuit, "What are you wearing?!" he couldn't stop from blurting.
Kaana, seemingly oblivious to his shock and awe, blinked at him, feigning innocence, "What's wrong? It's just a swimsuit."
"But you don't even own a swimsuit," Garou, now sitting up, frowned at her for being so nonchalant about it.
Kaana grabbed her discarded clothing, stuffing it in the bag, "It was a gift from Saya. I found it in my luggage this morning while you were out," while her hand moved around in the bag, she pulled it out, now holding the sunblock.
"Tch," Garou gave a scowl, tearing his gaze away. Kaana smirked slyly at his reaction. She knew she had his attention. Kaana found it amusing, hardly ever seeing Garou being flustered by what she was wearing.
Taking it a bit further, she took her time applying the sunblock. She pretended that she didn't know that Garou was sneaking glances at her as she rubbed the white cream along her extremities.
Why not get under his skin a little more?
As she finished making a show of spreading the cream along her arms, legs, stomach, cleavage and neck, she turned to him and held out the bottle, "Can you get my back for me?" her tone even and sweet.
Garou eyed her almost suspiciously before taking the bottle from her. Kaana turned to lie on her stomach, trying her best to hide her triumphant smirk. She wasn't done, yet.
While Garou popped the cap open, he stopped when he saw Kaana reach behind her back and pull the knot to her top loose.
"The fuck are you doing?!" Garou exclaimed, almost ready to just cover Kaana's body with a towel, so no one else can see.
Kaana peeked at him, "You won't be able to get my whole back with the straps in the way."
"Someone is going to see you," Garou was not keen on others getting a glimpse of her.
"Not if you're quick about it," Kaana winked at him, making Garou flush pink, but he scowled at her blatant attempts to tease him. Nonetheless, he unwillingly obliged, "Fine."
He squirted the cold cream into his hand and unenthusiastically started to rub it onto her back.
Garou, despite the fuss he kicked up, was taking his time spreading the sunblock. He silently took in her curves and the creaminess of her skin. He should've been upset that she was toying with him and risking others seeing her indecent. Only he was allowed to see her naked. However, there was something about seeing her almost naked in a public area that he found thrilling. She was being careless, but daring. He thought it was pretty hot. And the view wasn't bad, either.
"Garou?" her voice snapped him from his reverie and noticed that she was smirking at him, "I think you got everything."
Realizing how engrossed he actually was and was caught subconsciously feeling her up, he instantly became embarrassed. Garou hurriedly tied her straps and retreated his rough hands from her back. He tried to play off his embarrassment by lying back down and turning his head away, only he crossed his arms, this time. Kaana sat up from her lying position, giggling, "You don't need to be embarrassed. You make it so easy to rile you up."
"Just go if you're going to swim," Garou said gruffly. Kaana went from being playful, to disappointed, her smile disappearing into a light pout. So much for trying to get him to swim with her, "Forget it," she exhaled in defeat. Honestly, she didn't even feel like swimming anymore.
Garou notice Kaana starting to situate herself in her lounge chair, looking upset as she didn't get her way. Childish on both of their parts, but Garou did feel a little guilty. Still, nothing was going to fix that, now.
This honeymoon was starting off very badly.
