Lai

The sun shone through the windows, waking me up from my deep sleep. I stood up from my bed, noticing that he wasn't there anymore. I groaned.

How could I be so stupid to think that he actually even cared about me still? Obviously, I was just a quick bust then he goes and lays with those other females. My head began to hurt from just thinking about last night.

Aspirin will have to do it because I'm exhausted. After my shower, I laid in my bed trying to think of where my head was. Tyga was in L.A. probably doing the same thing with those groupies so he shouldn't be mad if I was to ever tell him. Wait, he always claims that he's grown when I question him so that'll be my explanation.

"Hello," Tyga answered, groggily. "Why are you still asleep?" My words were dragging on when I never really meant for them to. I'm just very tired right now.

"I'm not sleep."

"Oh, what are you doing, Michael?" "Tyga," he corrected.

"I'm not allowed to call you Michael anymore?" "I'm busy right now so you need to let me know what ypu calling for."

Wait a minute. Is he being serious right now? One thing I hate is when people try to front because they are around their friends! Don't act like you weren't callling or texting me yesterday, claiming that you missed me. How are you going to get on the phone and be that rude to me?

"What's up with you? You're being disrespectful right now," I replied. He kissed his teeth.

"You gave me a reason to be," he raised his voice. "Tyga, you need to chill because I haven't done a damn thing to you. We were just cool yesterday, what happend?"

"Ion know. Ask that nigga in Miami." He ended the call. How did he know about Corey? No one even seen us together. My head is really spinning right now.

> 1 week later

Kirk sat beside me at the bar, holding his shot of liquor. "You look desperate sitting over here alone."

"Oh," I shrugged. I'm still a little sad about the situation between Michael and I. We really were going somewhere but I ruined it. Why can't Corey just let me be happy for once? Everytime he hears that I'm starting something new he comes into the picture uses me, messes up my relationship, then just disappears. I always allow it to happen though. We have something special together and Corey takes advantage of that.

"Oh? Lai, look at me," he ordered. I lifted my head up and stared straight into his eyes.

"You said this is your last week here so let's turn up."

I smiled at how uncool he sounded. This was my last week in Miami until I set off to L.A. so I needed to shake these depressing feelings and have fun.

"Why do you always pay for my dances?" I asked Kirk as we walked into the private dance room.

"Because you're good at what you do." He sat on the seat and watched me twirl around on the pole. I put half the effort in because he only pays so that we can conversate away from the crowd.

"OK, but there's other good dancers," I replied. He nodded in agreement. "But they aren't like you. You're different, I guess."

"Guess? Don't make me slap you," I joked. Kirk smiled, leaning back in the chair. "If you slap me then I'm getting my money back."

I smiled at his joke then pulled nyself up on the pole. Kirk watched with the same suprised expression on his face. "Have you learned any of my moves yet?" I gave him dances almost every night therefore he should've figured out how I do most of this. He always seems so deep in thought whilst I'm dancing.
