The Last moon-rays

The world takes a final breath,
And the stars have lost the power of their hearts.
The sun says a final goodbye,
And graces the sky; one final time,
With the gray orb of the night,
Because tomorrow will never come.
Mother Nature answers with a ladder.
And I'll climb up and bask in its rays,
One last time, before all is gone.
