It started out as any normal day.
Hell, it started out about as normal as possible. But nothing ever stays normal for very long. Things are constantly shifting. Everything. Always. Nothing is ever constant

The alarm on my phone blasted its annoying squeal, effectively waking me up from the deep trance of sleep I was ensnared in. With a groan, I grabbed for my phone and turned off the alarm.
'Another boring day of school,' I thought. I stood up and stumbled into our bathroom, which was right beside my room.
I took in the fiery-red tiled walls. Other than that, there was a large shower, a mirror above our two sinks, and a toilet. My dad died about three years ago. He ran a multi-billion dollar company that sold electronics of every kind. Phones, game systems, computers, you name it. Anything you use, the company, Rangor, is more than likely connected in some way. My father left behind over five million dollars in his will to us. However, we chose to live like normal people, putting the money in the bank for emergencies. We give out about seven hundred dollars to charity every year.
I flipped on the hot water in the shower. As I undressed, a blue flash from my hand caught my eye. I brought it up to my face to examine, but I couldn't find anything abnormal.
'Hm, that's odd,'I thought. With a shrug, I stepped into the soothing warmth of the shower. Little did I know, my life was about to change. Whether for better or worse, I still cannot say.

Those memories. Those god damn memories. They come in blinding flashes, like the searing heat of a white-hot iron, branding my mind with the logo of pain.
The pain. The only thing in these god-forsaken walls that is ever constant. Trying to break me, reshape my will to its own. But I refuse to give in to those sadistic Saviors. They can make me relive the past a thousand more times.
But I won't give in.
