It's just a filler chapter about Anastasius' first night in the Main Palace. (When young Lucas faked a nightmare to sleep with him).

“Lucas, you really can't sleep with Anastasius. He must've been tired from suddenly moving here so he needs a lot of rest." The Queen tried coaxing the young prince who's currently hugging Anastasius tightly, refusing to let go.

They're currently in front of Anastasius' new bedroom in the main palace.

The move, or rather the plan of having Anastasius to move in with them, was decided by the King as soon as he returned to his palace after interacting with Anastasius. He ordered some of his men to buy his first born a lot of high-quality art supplies, while he ordered the rest to call the best professional interior designers to prepare one of the master's bedroom to be given to Anastasius.

And as expected by the King's power, the room was finished under just 24 hours. The room was big and extravagant, yet also tame enough for Anastasius to adjust to easily. The quality of work done in the bedroom is even enough to make people not believe that it was crammed in one day.

Everything went well after that, Anastasius loved the bedroom, or at least that's what he told the King, when actually he's finding it hard to adjust well in such a spacious room. Though it's true that he appreciates it a lot and the slight minimalist touch to it makes him feel a bit comfortable, obviously better than feeling not at all.

The maids in the main palace also greeted him warmly, it seems that the word of him being such an angel already circulated among everyone. The Queen also transferred his maids and Icarus to the main palace to continue serving him, she figured he would be more comfortable being served by people he already knew.

However in the midst of such lively occasion, Lucas remained aggravated. Why? You may ask, well it's because all of his plans on delaying Anastasius' room preparation went downhill.

When he first heard that Anastasius will be moving in with them from then on, he was beyond excited, that he even helped his maid change his bedsheets because based on him “Anastasius will be sleeping here with me so I need to change the bedding.” Only to be completely obliterated by his maid who responded to him with a question saying, “Huh? But Your Highness, I heard the King ordered a lot of interior designers to prepare Young Master Anastasius' room in the west wing, though?"

With this response it seems as though his dreams were shattered then and there. That's where he dragged his maid to his plans on delaying the room of Anastasius so the King would be left with no choice but to let them sleep together until it was finished.

First he tried snatching away the designers' sketch of what they plan to do to the room. But even after losing it, these genius designers didn't panic a bit because it turns out that they've already memorized all of its every details.

Next he tried distracting all of them by his haughty demands but the designers acted as if he wasn't even there, he can even vaguely see the fire of passion in their eyes that shows how determined they were to finish it under 24 hours.

While his last resort to delay the preparation by throwing a tantrum was prevented when the Queen arrived in the bedroom to collect him, it seems that one of the designers ratted him out.

So now he's sulking while gripping on Anastasius' clothes. Very desperate to share a room with him.

“Lucas, I didn't know you could be this hard-headed.” The King reprimanded lightly. He wasn't really upset about Lucas' behavior, it just shows how much in good terms his sons are, but he also knows that Anastasius needs to rest and adjust well in his surroundings.

The Queen only chuckled inwardly upon hearing the King, thinking, 'You dare tell Lucas he's hard-headed as if you didn't just told Anastasius earlier that if he ever encounters a nightmare he could visit your study and you'll stay with him until he sleeps well. Good grief, you're really the father of your son.'

While this commotion is happening, the source of it remained standing in between them with a restless smile of his face.

He also wanted to share a room with Lucas because he's more used to sleeping in the same bed with someone when he was still living in the orphanage. And he figured it would be much warmer and comfortable to have someone he knows with him in his new bedroom that he's finding hard to adjust to.

But he also knew how rowdy Lucas can get when he's excited so he's afraid he's not gonna get enough sleep tonight, which is something he really needed because he just trained his magical skills earlier this day.

And because he was also torn between those choices, he remained silent regarding the issue, just waiting for the King and Queen to make the decision.

However, something unexpected happened suddenly which made them all panic.

Lucas cried!

“You- You don't understand. I'm afraid of my n-nightmares so I wanted to sleep with nii-chan.” He said in-between hiccups, he even included his trump card! The word nii-chan!

Now here they are, in Anastasius' bedroom, laying on the bed together. The King and Queen was left with no choice but to agree with Lucas sleeping with Anastasius, since it was already the owner of the room who insisted on that arrangement upon seeing his little brother cry.

Now back to the bedroom. Anastasius is currently reading Lucas a bedtime story which he wrote himself. They are already tucked in and ready to sleep, but Lucas showed no sign of drowsiness, instead he's even wearing an adorable victorious smile while listening to his older brother's storytelling.

“You're smiling Lulu, do you really like the story?” Anastasius asked.

Before answering, Lucas remembered the interaction he had with his maid earlier,

“I know a sure-win strategy to let them agree for you to sleep with Young Master Anastasius, Your Highness.”

“What is it?”

“Cry and tell them that you're experiencing scary nightmares!"

"What?! Of course I can't cry in front of Anastasius! He'll just see me as a baby more!”

“Well it's up to you, Your Highness, I'm just suggesting here.”

It seems that his maid's suggestion worked even better than a charm, he'll make sure to compensate her later.

“Yes, It's so fun!” He answered.
