A/N: Hello! It has been a while since I have written a one-shot on here, so sorry about that. I just haven't been in a mood to write, but I'm writing right now so yay I guess. Anyway, this one-shot might be sadder than some of the others, but I'm in the mood to write it hehe.

Also, a slight trigger warning for grief, car crashes, and slight gore. If these things trigger you, I wouldn't recommend reading this chapter.

Enjoy!

(Third Person POV)

"You're doing great, Mike. Just keep going, slowly and steadily," The driving instructor, Leo, told Mike as he was pulling out of the parking lot.

"Remember to put your blinker on here," he taught as Mike nodded his head, flipping the lever that turned the flashing turn signal on.

"Alright, good, now make a left and you'll be on your way," Mike turned the steering wheel, causing the car's wheels to shift left, a small weight being lifted off of Mike's shoulders in the process.

"Nice! Now, keep going straight down this road, then we can figure out further instructions from there," Leo told, Mike smiling to himself at the small victory that was turning out of the parking lot.

-----------15 minutes later------------

Mike's car pulled back into the parking lot cautiously as he followed Leo's carefully crafted instructions. There was no doubt he was nervous, his hands sweaty and left knee bouncing up and down, but he shielded with a scarily good poker face that he was scared everyone could see right through.

As the car pulled to a slow and eventual stop, Mike lifted his hands that were stiffly placed on the steering wheel away and turned to Leo for final thoughts he might have, fully expecting him to tell him everything he did wrong and how at this point, he would never be a good driver, at least no time soon.

"Alright, good job, Mike. That was a solid B-plus. You only did a rolling stop at one of the stop signs and forgot to check both ways, and you were also going very slowly most of the time, but other than those small mistakes you did great!" Leo told Mike while unbuckling his seatbelt. Mike smiled and unbuckled his seatbelt, thanking Leo and waving goodbye briefly, nerves fading away slowly.

"There you are! How did it go?" he heard El say from the entrance to the large building that was dedicated to showing teens the ways of the road as she walked with a bit of a spring in her step towards her loving boyfriend.

"It went good, better than I thought it would. There are definitely some things I can do better, but I'll get there," he reported as he felt her arms being placed on his shoulder, his hands going instinctively to her waist.

"I'm sure you did great! I can't wait until you drive me around wherever I choose!" El joked after placing a quick peck on his lips. He chuckled and smiled at his caring and wonderful girlfriend, being sure to soak in her beauty during one of their many sessions of staring at each other with love-filled eyes.

"I can't wait to drive you around to wherever you choose!" he responded, removing his hands from her waist and taking her left hand in his right, beginning the walk to their ride, who was waiting impatiently in his car about 50 feet away.

Mike opened the door for El, her blushing as she sat in the vehicle, Mike following suit.

"Alright, Mike. I'm taking El to her house, then dropping you off. I have some errands to run with Jonathan afterward" Nancy said, her wavy hair casually flipping over her shoulder as she turned to face them, only to see El's head resting on Mike's shoulder and Mike looking straight ahead. The two lovebirds nodded as she drove away, headed towards Hopper's isolated cabin in the woods.
