"Hey. Maybe I should get a pay from taking your pictures," I faked a complaint.

"Oh come on. It's just for a day," she argued back, "It's not even for twenty-four hours! Besides, it's not every day that you get to see such wonderful views like these!"

I can sense the excitement in her voice. If we were cramped up right now at the front side of the boat, I think she would've jumped from joy. But I cannot disagree nonetheless. As I look down, I could see the corals below for the water was so clear. The post card of the Big Lagoon was right in front of my eyes and it made me believe more that there is a Greater Force out there. The view was simply breath-taking.

I carefully got my phone out and took a panoramic picture.

"That's it?" Dahyun nudged me.

"What?"

"Just one picture?" she asked again.

"Yeah," I answered, "I don't think I need too much pictures. They're all stuck in my memory anyways. I mean, who would forget a view as beautiful as this?"

"You'd never know," she waved a finger at me.

"Then maybe I can get a copy of your pictures if that time comes," I joked and just simply smiled once again. Then suddenly, I grabbed her camera and took a picture of me.

"What are you doing?" she asked with knitted eyebrows.

"So that you'd have a remembrance of me," I told her and snapped another one.

"It makes me think that you're counting this as our last meeting," she retorted.

"You'd never know," it was my turn to wave a finger at her and she laughed at my imitation.

Maybe travelling alone has its perks, especially when another beautiful girl is travelling alone too. We ended up accompanying each other and having small talks during the tour. We talked about the Filipino food that was served inside the boat and I got to introduce her little to the Filipino culture. She seemed pleased with my knowledge and I am too, since it gave me chances to spend more time with her.

On the other hand, she seemed to know a lot about science as she talked about rock and coral formations after we went snorkelling. Little by little, I caught a glimpse of her as a person. She was three years younger than me but acted mature for her age. She complimented me for having youthful looks and I told her that the secret is to enjoy life.

It was late afternoon when the tour ended, and I could already feel that sleep was slowly consuming me. My top was so wet that it hugged my torso. I wanted to take it off but I didn't want Dahyun to be uncomfortable. I looked at her and I could swear that she looked hot with her wet hair and with her wet clothes revealing her curves. My mind sounds like a pervert, but these are honest observations.

"How come we're not parting ways yet?" I asked with a chuckle as we approach the inn I was staying at.

"Please don't tell me that you're staying at RicGem's inn," she said.

"I am," I laughed.

"Wait," she stopped walking. "Are you kidding me?"

"No. I'm not," I shook my head with a big grin. She shot me another look which got me saying, "I swear, I'm not stalking you. I'm at Room 12."

She then burst out laughing. I was confused but her big laughs were enough to make keep the smile on my face, hanging. When she had calmed down, she held her tummy before informing me, "I stay at Room 11."

"Well, I guess, we must be fated!" I exclaimed.

"Now, that's jumping into conclusions!" she pointed at me.

I shrug again and before we knew it, we're already in the inn. As we showed each other our keys, we laughed yet again. I opened the door and I heard her open hers. But before entering, I glanced at her and realized that she was staring at me.

"Thanks for today," she beamed.

"Sure," I replied before both of us walked in our rooms.

I woke up and realized that it was already past 11pm. The exhausting activities, the relaxing hot shower, and the lack of decent sleep had made me stay in the bed for seven hours. That would be too long considering that it should have just been a mere nap. I grunted as I sat up. I forgot to grab a meal before going to sleep and I knew that my stomach would be grumbling for food sooner or later. I sighed as I proceeded on looking for party clothes in my bag. I might as well try a few drinks, and a few girls too.

My hand then suddenly reached for the wall and knocked it just to make sure that it was sound proof. I don't want to disturb anyone with the sounds of love-making. I suddenly remembered the girl I've spent my morning with. But then I shook my head. It was not like she was going to care, anyways. She'd be judging me if she finds out, that's for sure but as long as we don't bump into each other again, then it'd be okay.

But talk about bumping into each other, just before I could go out of the inn with my best clothes and with my most masculine perfume, I found her sitting at the lobby with a cup of coffee on one hand a black notebook on the other.

I didn't want to greet her because I was gambling at the chance that I could go unnoticed.

But it was her who greeted me. She looked at me and gave a small wave, "Hi."

"Hi," I replied.

"Looking good, huh?" she complimented.

"I'm out to party," I confessed.

"Hmmm," she hummed. "Have fun. Don't go breaking girls' hearts."

I laughed as she hit the bull's eyes. I sighed before saying, "I'll try."

She just gave a weak chuckle before proceeding on writing at her notebook while I took the chance to walk away. I played with the keys in my fingers as I walked out but before the inn could disappear from my sight, I glanced back. Even from afar, I could see her beauty radiate. I sighed loudly and cursed myself because I then found myself going back to her.
