Alyssa: See ya, buddy! I'm off to school!! I got a big night ahead of me!!
Me: Of course you do! See ya, buddy!!
Alyssa's Mom: You got your ticket, right?
Me: Yes.
Alyssa's Mom: Great! Colin will be here, soon. He's gonna be at the ceremony, tonight.
Me: Wow! How many people are gonna be there?
Alyssa's Mom: A lot, I think! My family is supposed to be on their way from Washington State. They're staying at a hotel.
Me: When do you expect them to arrive?
Alyssa's Mom: Sometime, this afternoon. Oop I just got a text! They're almost in Vancouver!
Me: Cool!
Alyssa's Mom: Yup! They may drop by, after they check in at the hotel. I'm sure you would love to meet them.
Me: Of course!
Alyssa's Mom: *smiles at me*
