Chapter 4: Sisterly Arguements

Last time Bryce caught the killer who had left the dismembered body at the crime scene. Now it's time to get back to home life with Bryce and the Girls! What antics will they into today.

Bryce woke up to his alarm clock ringing, Bryce slaps the button the top of the alarm clock to get it to shut up. Bryce turned to see Beelzebub laying next to him as he remembered what happened yesterday when he got home. "Beel it's time to get up." Bryce said as he tried to free himself from the girl's grip. "Five more minutes." Beelzebub groaned as she tightened her hold on Bryce. "I have to go help Lucy make breakfast, I'd rather not get barked at this morning." Bryce said as he tried to urge the girl out of her lazy act. "Screw that bitch! She can shove it up her ass!" Beelzebub groaned out as she only snuggled up to Bryce even more then before.
               After letting Beelzebub get her five extra minutes, Bryce finally made his way downstairs to join Lucifer in the kitchen to make breakfast. "About time you showed up slave." Lucifer said in an annoyed tone as she gave him a sideways glare. "Morning to you to Lucy." Bryce said as he threw on his apron and started to help Lucifer. "You think you can just let Beel use you as a teddy bear all night and act like it didn't happen." Lucifer growled as she continued to give Bryce a sideways glare. "Yes because a human man can overpower a demon's strength." Bryce said sarcastically as he got punched in the shoulder by Lucifer before they worked in silence.
After finishing up breakfast and making sure everyone was fed, Bryce just wanted to relax today. Bryce's chance at relaxing was quickly interrupted by the sound of his phone ringing. Bryce looked down and saw that it was once again his cousin, Bryce presses answer before putting the phone up to his ear. "Hello?" Bryce said as he was already not looking forward to this conversation. "Hey Bryce, how's my favorite Cousin?" Bryce's cousin said over the phone as Bryce let out a sigh. "Hello Xander, well your still alive despite walking directly into the lion's den." Bryce said dryly as he rubbed his face.
                  Bryce was trying to be supportive of his cousin, he knew how much Yori meant to him, but he also didn't want to lose his closest family member. Xander and him did everything together when they were younger, they had a special bond. "Bryce, I know I'm taking a risk here, but you remember better then anyone how hard losing Yori was for me the first time." Xander said in a more downcast tone that Bryce knew all to well. Bryce couldn't forget how much of a mess Xander had been when he had to leave Yori. Bryce could scarcely call what Xander was doing during that period of his life as living.
                Bryce felt himself getting wrapped up by three sets of arms. Cerberus all look at Bryce with worry in their eyes. "I understand Xander, just promise you won't die on me, okay?" Bryce said as he tried to be a supportive as possible. "I will Bryce, by the way I proposed to Yori. If everything goes well, you'll be getting a wedding invitation!" Xander said as Bryce actually cracked a smile at Xander's statement as he let out a small chuckle. "Congratulations Xander, I better be the best man." Bryce said in a good natured tone as Xander let out a laugh of his own.
"Sure thing Bryce, anyway I better go, talk to ya later!" Xander said as Bryce said a goodbye of his own as he put his cellphone away. "Alright you three, why are you clinging to me?" Bryce asked as he looked at Cerberus, who had worry present in their eyes as they tightened their hold on Bryce. "Master, please don't get hurt again! We refuse to let you go out on your own again!" Cerberus said in unison as they clung to him. Bryce let out a sigh before petting each of the girls on the head, giving them a scratch behind their ears. "Don't worry girls, I'll make sure to stay safe." Bryce said as he tried to put Cerberus at ease about his safety.
              After calming the Cerberus girls down, Bryce tried to enjoy watching TV with Pandemonica, who had reverted back to her tired self. "Leave me alone you bitch!" Bryce looked over to see Malina playing one of her handhelds, while Zdrada seemed to be harassing her sister. "Oh come on Malina, I'm just saying that you stand to do something that's not nerdy." Zdrada said as she let out a puff of smoke from her mouth. "This nerdy stuff, is one the few things that actually makes me happy! So why don't you got shove your opinion up your ass!" Malina fired back as she continued to play.
                 Zdrada then snatched the handheld from Malina as the her sister whipped around and glared at her. "Give it back you slut! Can't you go get fucked or something? Why do you have to make my life miserable?!" Malina said as Bryce noticed that Zdrada flinched slightly at Malina's last statement. Bryce got up from his seat as he made his way over to the sisters as Malina continued to try and snatch the handheld from Zdrada. "You do know that stuff like this isn't very attractive right? Do you honestly think Bryce enjoys doing any of this with you?" Zdrada said in a more snarky tone as Malina looked down.
Bryce was about to lay into Zdrada for saying those things to Malina, but the other girl walked past her sister, bumping her arm into Zdrada's in the process. "Where are you going?" Zdrada asked as she looked over her shoulder at her sister. "You killed any enjoyment I had playing that game, I'm going to lay down. Do me a favor and don't break my handheld you bitch." Malina said as walked up the stairs to her bed room. "Are you proud of yourself Zdrada? Malina was just minding her own business and you come up to her and harass her." Bryce said coldly as he glared at Zdrada who glared back.
"Oh come on Bryce, you gotta admit that the little nerd spends way to much time burying her face in those games!" Zdrada said as she let out a stream of smoke directly into Bryce's face. Bryce roughly grabbed Zdrada by the arm as she gave him a suggestive grin. "Aw, what are you gonna do big boy? Spank me like bad little bitch that I am?" Zdrada said in a sultry tone as she smiled at Bryce. "No, but maybe Malina was right about you Zdrada. It seems like all you do is make her life miserable." Bryce said as Zdrada froze up slightly at his words, but refused to give the detective a response.
Bryce sighed in annoyance before heading up stairs to check on Malina, who was currently in her bedroom. Bryce found Malina making her favorite drink vodka mixed with orange juice. "What do you want jackass? Can't you see I'm trying to forget about my problems?" Malina growled in annoyance as she didn't make any type of eye contact. Bryce smiled gently before sitting down next to Malina on her bed and pulling her into his lap. "W-What the fuck?! Let go of me jackass!" Malina said as she half heartedly struggled in Bryce's arms before finally giving in and letting the detective hold her.
                 "That bitch I call a sister just can't let me live my life." Malina grumbled as she took a sip from her drink. "I know your sister can be difficult, but I know you love her." Bryce said gently as he planted a kiss on Malina's cheek. "Yeah right, honestly what does that slut know about me anyway? Like I care if no one plays with me." Malina said as Bryce noticed some small tears in the corner of her eyes. Bryce then gently wrapped his arms around Malina before pressing his lips to hers as the two of them continued to make out. Bryce and Malina broke apart as they both tried to catch their breaths before speaking.
"I know your sister may not seem like she cares, but I know she loves you." Bryce said as Malina simply rested her head against his chest and let out a somewhat tired sigh. "She sure has shitty way of showing it." Malina fires back as she grabs two controllers from her nightstand and handing one to Bryce. Malina loaded a game onto her laptop as she looked over at Bryce with the faintest of smiles. Bryce and Malina began to play as Malina felt her good mood returning to her once again. Little did the two of them know they Zdrada was outside the door as a few tears were in her eyes. Zdrada turned and threw her cigarette away before going back downstairs as if she heard nothing of what her sister said.

So Bryce has had yet another conversation with his cousin Xander Aarons! Yes this story takes place in the same universe as my Erma: Family is Forever story. Then there's also the tension between Zdrada and Malina, hopefully Bryce can sort things out between them. What other shenanigans with the demon girls get up to?
