LEAH POV—

~Christmas Day~

Christmas. What a beautiful holiday in the year. A time where families spend quality time together, giving and receiving gifts, enjoying each other's company, and just being a happy family. Today's going to be magical.

It was disheartening that my grandma wouldn't be here with us this Christmas and many Christmases and other holidays to come, but I know that she's watching my family and I from above. She's with us in spirit.

Today, Will and I decided to divide our Christmas. He'll join my family for breakfast and I'll join him and his mom for dinner. It's a win, win for the both of us. I get to see him twice in one day, so I was happy about that.

I couldn't wait to give him his gift. I didn't know what his reaction would be, but hopefully, a good one. I spent a pretty penny on that watch, so I hope he'll like it.

I was already up and dressed. I went into the kitchen and saw my mom whipping it up.

"Mmmm, smells good in here."

"Your mama's doing it up in here." My dad said, kissing her cheek.

"You're right about that, daddy." I agreed.

"You two set up the table. I'm just about done." Mama said.

"Okay." I said, following my dad.

~An Hour Later~

The food was finished and set on the table. My mom did her thing. She made pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, pudding, and biscuits. My mouth watered at the sight. I was ready to dive in, but we had to wait for Will.

"Lee, when is Will coming?" My mom asked.

He should be here any minute. After I said that, the doorbell chimed.

"That must be him." I said, answering the door.

"Good morning." I stated, allowing him inside.

"Good morning." He replied, coming in.

"Is breakfast ready? I'm starving." He said, rubbing his hands together.

"Yeah, right this way." I stated, leading him into the kitchen.

Will greeted my parents and we all got our plates, piling them with food. After that, we sat to the table, said grace, and dived in.

Breakfast was good. I'm stuffed as hell. We had an amazing time. My dad even behaved the whole time. He and Will made good conversation and Will was comfortable talking to him. After we helped my mom clean up the kitchen, we went to my room, where I was going to give him his gift.

I went to my dresser, pulling out a small wrapped box. I turned towards him, handing it over.

"Here, Merry Christmas."

He had a puzzled look on his face as he took it from me.

"What's this?" He asked, looking the box over.

"Your Christmas present."

"Christmas present?"

I nodded. "Just, open it."

He did as told and tore the wrapping paper off. Once he opened the box, his mouth dropped as he stared at the silver and gold Rolex.
