I argued, dragged, and tried to reason with her but Camila didn't want to go into class. So we sat outside and waited for everyone to come out.

"So when can I meet her?" I asked as I sip on my iced latte and Camila looked up from her phone.

"Who? Caitlyn?" She asked and I nodded.

"I don't think now is the best time." She mumbled and I sighed.

"Okay fine, you'll meet her at your party, which is tomorrow, are you excited?" She squealed and I shrugged.

"Did you invite River?" She asked and I shook my head.

"If I'm being honest, I forgot. I just told him about it but I'm pretty sure you'll see him there." I said and continued rambling about last night.

"Wait, so Serena knows?" She repeated and I nodded. "He's one of her many conquests." I grimaced and Camila shuddered.

"What about Chris?"

"What about him?" She leaned back and shrugged as if it was nothing.

"Cam seriously, what about him?" I repeated and she looked around before leaning over the table and closer to me.

"We all thought you were getting back together. And when I say "we", I mean everyone on campus." She said quietly and my mouth widened slightly in shock.

"You're friendship, or "friendship" doesn't go unnoticed you know, people actually ship you guys." She informed me and it baffled me how I was never told about this.

"B-But don't they see how he jumps between girls? I mean, don't they feel bad for me? I mean I was basically used. There's no way I could've continued doing that." I tried to explain but stumbled over my words.

"Open relationship?" She suggested as an excuse and I scoffed. "That's bullshit." I folded my arms.

"People actually consider us as the most popular group on campus," She mumbled and I sighed.

"Sure doesn't feel like it."

I can see why because we always throw the best parties, and everyone in our group has personality and looks, well if you minus Vanessa's attitude.

"Maybe that's why Vanessa is always around us." I suggested as people started appearing out of lectures.

Camila looked around frantically and I can pretty much see her anxiety exploding out of her. "Hey, it's gonna be okay." I soothed and she took a deep breath and nodded.

"Hey, guys!" Mason appeared first and I handed him back his keys. "Don't worry, I was with her, no scratches," Camila said and he raised his eyebrow.

"Okay, so she may have almost reversed into a car," Camila added and I laughed loudly to drown out her voice.

"What matters is," I began as I glared at her. "Your car is in one piece." I smiled proudly.

After a few minutes, everyone was gathered around the table.

"So Cam, when can we meet her?" Cameron asked while wiggling his eyebrows and everyone stopped talking to hear what she has to say.

"Nyah's birthday." She answered. "At least we know why you were sneaking around all the time." Vanessa commented and Camila doesn't take it to offense.

"Now, Nyah. We know you've been sneaking around too, so spill." Riley urged as she bumps shoulders with me and I mentally cursed.

I really don't wanna talk about River.

"Wait, isn't that River?" Jordan asked while pointing behind me.

This cannot be happening.
