"Can you please just get out?" I groaned as I massaged my temples.

Kane has been on my ass ever since Nyah left this morning.

I really thought they worked out their issues but I guess not. "I'm just saying that you should keep a closer eye on her. I do it with Cam and she doesn't cross the line," Kane explained.

"She doesn't cross the line because she has no line to cross. Your girlfriend is on the right side of the law," I reminded him and he shrugged. "Same difference," He muttered.

"All I'm saying is-"

"Get. Out." I threatened as I glared at him and he nodded and left. "Hey baby," I heard and I lifted my head and smiled as Nyah walked in and shuts the door behind her.

"Wassup?" I smirked as she walked around sat on my desk in front of me. She cocked her head to the side me as she gave me a curious look.

She looks cute when she does that.

Her hair swished as she turns her head and some strands fell in front of her face.

"You're tense." She examined as she straightened her head and I sighed. "Just Kane," I muttered and her face fell.

"Okay, what's the issue between you two?" I asked as I broke the silence and she hopped off my desk and walked to the seat opposite it. "I just don't trust him," She shrugged as her feet rested on my desk and I raised my eyebrow.

"Don't look at me like that. I'm not moving," She added and I leaned back against my chair.

"You don't trust my right-hand man?" She nodded.

"I think that he's too arrogant and doesn't know his place," She shrugged and I raised my eyebrow.

I don't know why I'm enjoying this.

"He's simply your backup," She finished as she stood up again. "I think I'm gonna spend the day with the girls so I'll see you later?" She said as she walked towards me and gave me a hug. I pulled her onto my lap and she squealed slightly.

"I'll be waiting for you tonight," I teased and her face fell for a fraction. It was so fast but I still noticed. "Okay," She whispered as she kissed me cheek and walked out.

"Huh," I muttered to myself as I watched her leave.

"So let me get this straight," I asked again as I leaned against my kitchen counter. "You think she's too arrogant and doesn't know her place?" I asked as I tried to hold in my smile.

They can't be serious.

"Yeah I mean, she's just your girlfriend. Nothing more," Kane shrugged as he shut the fridge. "But she also knows how to defend herself. She's pretty much on a higher level than your team," I added as I crossed my arms and he shook his head.

"I taught her everything that she knows," He said as he pointed to his chest.

They are so much more alike than I thought...

"Whatever," I chuckled as I grabbed my phone and walked out of the kitchen.

"Wait where even are we?" Serena asked as she scanned the outside of my house.

Her and Camila have been on their phones practically the entire journey so they didn't even see how I got here.
