"Hey, are you okay?" Camila asked as she walked into the dark room slowly.
I'm pretty sure I've been sitting here for hours.
I didn't respond but she grabbed the nearest chair and sat in front of me. "I'm not in the mood to have a heart to heart with you," I grumbled.
She didn't respond for a while.
"We went to see her. She's gonna be okay, they just want to keep her there for a bit to make sure there wasn't any severe damage," she said softly and I nodded.
"Look at me." Her tone changed completely and I lifted my head to look up at her and she leaned forward.
"For whatever reason, she believes that you cheated, or left her on purpose. She doesn't remember half of the past 5 hours and you're the last thing she seems to remember,"
"I knew I should've forced her to stay home." I mumbled.
"Well forget about that now. You need to find out where Mason is. I'll go and find information and I'll be sending you updates." She said and leaned back on the chair.
"Well go, now!" She urged and I got up and headed downstairs and outside. It was a little past 4am and the sun is slowly, but surely, rising. I climbed into my car that Kane left behind and turned on the ignition.
I headed back to the house first and slowly got changed.
It's too quiet here. I can't stay here.
I went back outside and drove to the warehouse. Nobody knows what's happened and it's gonna stay that way. I can't have them losing focus on what has to be done.
We need to kill Mason.

ME: any info?
CAMILA: from the way it sounds, all three of them planned it
ME: okay so has anyone seen him since?
CAMILA: vanessa and chris haven't exactly been hiding
ME: mason?
CAMILA: no ones seen him. i heard what you're planning and it's a bad idea
ME: drugging my girlfriend over killing him. seems fair to me
CAMILA: nyah wouldnt want u to hurt him. as far as she knows, she's not your girlfriend
I locked my phone and dropped my head in my hands. She's not wrong. I never properly asked her, I just told her she was.
I knew how that was gonna blow over, since I know her well enough.
No wonder it was so easy for them to manipulate her into thinking it was me. Anyone could satisfy her the way I do.
But nobody craves her and cares for her as bad as I do.
All I ever do is bring her pain and stress. Their plan was executed so well and they planned everything to the last detail, like they knew exactly how last night would've went.
"Any news?" Kane asked as he walked into my office and shut the door. I shook my head as I leaned back against my chair. "When are you going to visit her?" He asked and I raised my eyebrow as I put down my pen.
