3rd Person POV
Another year had passed and now there many new pillars. Now the pillars had a Mist Pillar Muichiro Tokito, The Love Pillar Mitsuri Kanroji, and The Serpent Pillar Iguro Obanai. Then there was of course Himejima, Giyu, Sanemi, Rengoku, Shinobu, Uzui, and then Mei.Mei was getting back from her five-month mission that Oyakata-sama had assigned. The mission was in the Red Light District so she hasn't worn her mask for quite a while. He thinks there's an Upper Moon that's been lurking there.
When she got there she was hoping to be able to rest at her estate after such an exhausting time, but Feya reminded her of a pillar meeting.
She made her way to the courtyard and saw Rengoku. "Yamamoto! You're back!" He called. Mei nodded her head with a smile. "Wow! It's been a while since I've seen your face, Yamamoto! You always wear your mask!" "Yeah, I haven't been able to wear it because of my mission." She explained. "I see!"
Mei soon noticed an unconscious boy. Rengoku kind of explained the situation. So the meeting was about a young boy traveling with a demon.
Mei didn't question the boy as to why he was carrying a demon around with him, nor was she angry about it. Mei needed to listen to the boy's explanation before judging the situation.
She noticed the boy started to wake up because of a kakushi. He started yelling at him for disrespect.
He looked very confused as to why he was there. Shinobu gave him some water and explained that he broke Corp's rules. Mei stepped forward gaining the boy's attention. She bent down next to Shinobu and was in front of the boy. "You sound like you're in a lot of pain. You should take it easy." She said gently. "I swear Nezuko has never hurt anyone!" The boy tried to say. Mei sighed before continuing. "It's hard to believe, but I suppose a miracle like that could happen. But do you have evidence that she's never hurt-" Mei was cut off however by a voice mid-sentence.
Everyone's attention was drawn to Sanemi holding up a wooden box. This seemed to really upset the boy. Mei realized that was the box the demon was in, she started to get annoyed.
She watched as he used his sword to stab the demon through the box causing a little blood to spill. All the other pillars seemed against having a demon with us except for really Giyu and Shinobu, and well her. A demon on our side could be an advantage point. Mei became very very annoyed at this point, because of Sanemi.
Mei watched the boy run towards him and head butted him surprising everyone. He was able to land a blow despite having his hands behind his back and he was able to dodge Sanemi's sword. Mei almost burst out laughing. "Damn you!" Sanemi said. "Karma is a bitch Sanemi...And you Tanjiro...you just became my favorite person at the moment." Mei said to him.
They suddenly heard "Oyakata-sama has arrived." We all immediately bowed and Sanemi forced the boy to bow too. He explained this whole situation and one of his daughters even read a letter that was sent. It was the previous water pillar and also Giyus master. Most of the pillars still disagreed with the idea. Oyakata-sama just smiled at them and then looked at me. "Mei, what do you think?" "I am okay with this...besides having a demon on our side could be an advantage point, and worst case scenario it's an easy kill." Mei responded. Oyakata-sama smiled even more at her response.
Sanemi however, still didn't agree. He purposely cut himself getting blood all over the ground. His blood was rare which makes it even harder to resist for a demon. Iguro then told him the demon won't come out in the sunlight. So he apologized to the master and went into a shadowy area. He opened the box and jumped back. An adorable girl stepped out of the box and stood in front of him growling and drooling.
