After kicking stones while leaning on my car door parked not far away from Zecky's diner, I decided to head back to the hospital.
I see no familiar faces around his diner except for his staffs na nagde-deliver sa'kin ng meals nitong mga nakaraang araw and what's weird is that I don't feel like I wasted my time hanging around there just for nothing - after all, I had the time to stare at his diner.

I forgot to ask him what's behind that name.
For the past few days that passed, hindi nawawala sa isip ko yung mga bagay na gusto ko pang malaman sa kanya, lalo na sa nakalipas na anim na taon. I feel like I've missed a huge part of his life and I feel like I should run and get ahead with it.
Before it's too late.
It made me realize that I don't want to waste more time anymore.
I'm not going to waste another month without him or another year without him.
I can't waste another time of my life without him.
Tama na yung anim na taon na ninakaw sa amin ng tadhana. That six years should've been conquered by Zecky and me if destiny allowed us to be together.
We could've been together for six years but I won't claim that those six years would be well spent.
Because again, we're not going to be the same person who we are today if we had chosen a different choice in the past.
And I admit, the time we spent together wasn't that long but it was enough to engrave each other's name into our hearts.
And if this is not loving, then I don't know what this is.
"Demi!" Fate called me while she's running towards me. I'm currently doing my rounds dahil nakita niya akong papasok sa kwarto ng pasyente ko. Agad ko ulit isinara iyong pinto ng kwarto bago ko siya hinarap.
"What?" I asked her nang makalapit na siya sa'kin.
"I heard Quin talking over his phone," she started.
Tinaasan ko siya ng kilay habang naghihintay sa susunod niyang sasabihin.
"He's talking with Zecky," she added.
My eyes widened. "Seryoso?"
"Do I look like I'm joking?" mataray niyang tanong. "Anyway, I was about to get inside Quin's office when I heard him calling Zecky's name. They seemed to be talking so serious, Quin actually mentioned you while scolding Zecky."
"About what Fate?" seryoso kong tanong.
"About Zecky... following you to Japan."
My forehead creased.
"D-Did I heard you right, Fate?" nauutal kong tanong.
Fate sighed and nodded. "You heard right. Zecky followed you to Japan."
