2020
The next morning in the cortex.

The team and myself watched the security footage from last night. It showed Thawne's conversion with me  and the moment after I left. He stood there with his hands on the glass, shaking. He turned away, wiping away at the what appeared to be tears, slumped against the glass, and stayed like that the rest of the night watching the door till his head rolled to one side indicating he was sleeping.
We checked the live feed to see him up, moving, and... shirtless.

"Which one of  you would like to accompany me while I run some tests to make sure he isn't dying." Caitlin says while grabbing a clipboard and pencil.

"I will." I look up to see the rest of them nervously looking at me.

"What?"

"Are you sure that's a good idea?" Cecile said probably reading my emotions of pain, anger, and resentment.

"I'm fine, sides we all know he's not one to play nice for very long."

We walk down there along with Nash, who's holding a modified speedster gun, courtesy of the Legends and some tinkering between me and Cisco.
We get to the door, open it, and file in.

"Hello, Caitlin, Nash."

His voice is a tad bit venomous towards the Wells, eyeing the speedster gun as they approach with me behind them in my speedster suit, ready for any issues Reverse Flash might cause. He lets out a breath upon seeing me quickly looking him up and down only to look away when I see he's doing the same to me. He flexes his large arms as he puts them behind his head, chuckling.

"Like what you see, Mina? Because I know I do."

The huskiness of his voice makes my face turn pink as i turn away, walk over to one of the touch screen panels, and start looking at his vitals that are being monitored remotely through a series of tech panels in the back walls of the cell.

"Heart rate at normal rate, for a speedster at least." I call over to Caitlin.

"I need you to take a couple deep breaths so Dr. Onyx can check your breath pattern for any abnormalities." I hear Caitlin say in her strong doctor-like tone.

I look over my shoulder to see Reverse flash chuckle a small bit before sitting down, breathing in and out steadily, his toned chest muscles moving as he breathes, I quickly look away, not wanting to blush anymore than I already am, and see he's breathing perfectly normal, no hiccups, nothing.

"He certainly seems taken with you, Bender."

I hear Nash on my left comment as I scan Thawne's brain for anything abnormal.

"Well, him and I are through, we probably weren't even a thing to begin with. It was probably all just a game to him anyway. That, and this is probably all an act to get under my skin."

I look up from  the tablet I'm using to log the data i see in the scans to see Nash studying my reaction.

"What?"

He quickly pulls me into a one arm hug and then goes over to Caitlin to see how it's going with the various questions she's asking while I monitor his brain waves.
I see the brain light up with various emotions, the most prominent ones being hate and, funnily enough,  jealousy.

"I think that's it for the day, thank you for being cooperative, Thawne." I could hear the underlying sarcasm in Caitlin's voice.

"Anything for a fellow scientist."

I roll my eyes at that and start to leave. Then I turn back to the other two.

"I'm thinking of joining the Legends."

I look at their suprised faces, but the most hilarious reaction comes from Thawne. A look of absolute pure anger and hatred come across his face at the mention of the rag tag, time traveling heroes.
Nash and Caitlin look at each other sharing a look with a smile tugging at their lips. I feel a piercing, rage filled look burning into my eyes as I look up to see Thawne standing near the glass with arms folded across his now clothed chest. The shirt he wore was of some kind of dry fit material that gently hugged his upper arms it was a smokey black in color.

"You guys go on ahead I need to check to make sure everything is running smoothly, so he doesn't escape some how." I say looking up at them.

"Oh! Um yeah, I need to log the data we gathered anyway. Nash? You coming?"

Caitlin looked at Nash who was looking between me and the angry speedster in the glass and metal box.

"Oh, um, no I think I'll wait outside the door just in case."

He seemed more worried about me than I was.

"Alright I won't be long, and thank you Nash."

"Any time, Bender."

I chuckle at the pun as the door closes and turned on my heels to look at Thawne.

"Are you seriously considering joining those legendary losers?"

"Says the red eyed loser in a glass and metal box, who got beaten by them, not once, but twice."

I say turning to him with a raised eyebrow. He scoffed placing his hands on the glass.

"You and your friends may have found a way to dampen my speed, but I will get out, trust me, and when I do you are going to be very sorry you ever said that to me."

"Oooo scary man." I sarcastically sneer back.

"Oh you'll see how scary I can be Kymina, just... you... wait."

He says as he steps back. I take one more look at him, shake my head, and leave, but before I go, I turn and yell,

"Who's the loser now, Reverse? WHO'S THE LOSER NOW?!" as a last sting to the ego I flip him off and walk out not even listening to the shouts of rage and threats. As the door closes I high-five Nash and walk with him back to the cortex to get in touch with the Legends.
