Running Towards the Reverse.

Movie Date Night

We decided on Star Trek into Darkness. As we sat together inside his cell in our normal clothes and socks, eating Big Belly burgers, it felt almost blissfully good and normal, well as normal as you can get when one of you is a highly dangerous meta.
After we finished eating, I leaned into
him as we sat on his bed, laughing at something Bones said.

"You know, the team has probably gone home by now..."
He said looking down at me mischievously.

"Noo, you promised me a normal date and besides, they might rewatch the footage to make sure you didn't try to kill me or something."

He sighed.

"Yet, you still can't leave which means we're sharing a bed."

"Yes and all I want are nice, snuggly cuddles from you. Got it, mr. Smarter than everyone else?"

"Fine" he quickly kisses my forehead and goes back to watching the movie.

"I can see why you picked this movie, this Khan guy has some similarities with me."

"That's not the only reason why I picked it. The music is very exhilarating, best kind of movie music in my opinion."

I look at him as I feel him chuckle at the movie. I snuggle closer and I start to feel myself fall asleep.

"Do I have any sodapop left?"
I ask sleepily.

"Starting to fall asleep are we? Lemme check."

I hear only ice in mine, but I hear a slight sloshing noise from his.

"Do you want the rest of mine?"

"Yes, please."

I reach up to take it only for him to hold it out of arms reach.

"Come on, please?"

"Can I have a kiss, please?"

I quickly kiss him on the cheek, but he still holds it out of arms reach.

"I meant on the lips, sweetheart."

I sigh, lean up, and kiss him, full on the lips. I quickly pull away before he deepen it. I hear him chuckle in response.

"Now can I please have your drink?"

He hands it to me and I drink down the rest.

"Thank you."

We finishing watching the movie.

I yawn, pull the blanket over me, and causally lay down on the side closest to the wall. Thawne lays down next to me, pulling a second blanket over himself and wraps his arms around me.

"It's too bad we'd both hog the blankets, I would very much like to hold you closer to me."

"Sorry."

I snuggle as close as I can and close my eyes.

"So what does Barry think of all this?"

"He hates the idea of me and you together. Says you'll never change, not completely anyway."

"And what about you? Hmmm? What are your thoughts?"

"I think he's right, but also I think you should be given a chance at something you never got to have."

"And what's that?"

"Love, happiness. The feeling of someone loving you and seeing something in you that even you yourself don't see."

I rollover and snuggle into his chest as best I can.

Then I hear Nash over the coms.

"Lights out love birds."

I flip off the camera attached to the ceiling as I hear Eobard chuckle and pull me closer.

"Told you so." I mumbled before falling asleep.
