Epilogue

Ashton and Calum immediately rushed to the hospital after getting a call about michael. They ran down the hall and to his and Lukes room. When they ran in, michaels bed was gone and Luke was sleeping.

"Where's Michael?" Calum asked while slowly walking in. Ashton looked around confused before walking to Luke.

"Luke? Hey Luke wake up?" Ashton said while shaking him but he didn't move at all.

"I had to sedate him" both boys looked at the door and saw the snarky nurse Sandra standing there. They didn't like her. She was very rude

"Why?" Ashton asked confused but also angry. That's his best friend

"Because he was in the way!" She snapped

"So why the hell would you sedate him? Are you even aloud to do that?? You're just some nurse! I thought doctors can only allow that!" Calum said while glaring at her.

"He was get--"

"Nurse Sandra?" The doctor asked while walking in. She turned to him and fakely smiled.

"May I talk to these two boys alone?" He asked somewhat sadly. She nodded and left closing the door behind her

"Where is Michael? Is he okay?" Ashton asked worried. The doctor sighed

"Mr. Clifford was taken into surgery a few hours ago. His heart failed cause of the injuries to his head. I'm afraid he's no longer with us" the doctor said sadly. The room was silent for a few minutes, both boys taking in the information before realization hit them

Michaels gone..

"W-what?" Calum asked feeling his eyes water.

"I'm sorry. Whenever your ready you can also check out Mr. Hemmings" the doctor said sadly then left the room.

"No. No no no" Calum said while shaking his head letting tears fall. Ashton was beyond shocked. He was trying everything not to cry.. He had to be strong, especially for Luke. He's definitely not gonna take this well.

"Calum we should probably get out of here" Ashton said sadly and Calum hugged Ashton and started sobbing in his shoulder. Ashton hugged him rubbing his back softly. Oh god please don't cry

"Oh my god what about Luke?" Calum cried into his shoulder. Both boys can't even imagine how Luke is gonna feel when he finds out.

Calum walked over and grabbed Lukes bag and threw all his stuff in it. He made sure he grabbed everything and then Ashton picked up Luke bridal style and both walked out the door and down the hall to the front desk

The nurse at the desk smiled sadly at the boys before handing them the form. Ashton signed it then they left

Luke was still out like a light..

Luke slowly opened his eyes. He looked around and noticed he was laying on the couch back at the 5sos home. Wait he shouldn't be here? Luke sat up and saw Ashton Calum sitting on the other couch making small talk.

"Guys? Why aren't we at the hospital?" Luke asked tiredly. He sat up and noticed that his mom was also there along with his brothers and dad.

"Luke we need to tell you something" Ashton said and Luke looked at him confused.

"Look I don't care what you have to say Ashton.. I'm going back to Michael" Luke said while standing up but Jack stood up and stopped him from leaving

"Luke just sit down please" he whispered. Luke furrowed his eyebrows but sat down.

"Guys what's going on?" Luke asked slightly worried.. He didn't know what was happening.. But he was slightly nervous

"Do you remember what happened last night?" Ashton asked and Luke nodded remember what happened to Michael and how that dumb nurse drugged him.

"Well... Michael.. He died" Ashton said slowly while looking down. Luke sat there for a few minutes

"No he's not! Stop lying Ashton! That's not funny!" Luke snapped while standing up once again. Jack and Ben tried to grab him but he smacked their arms away

"No! I'm going to see Michael!" Luke snapped stubbornly

Luke knew they were right. But he didn't want to accept that. He didn't want to accept the fact that the love of his life is gone. Or the fact that the last time he saw him before the accident is when he hurt him and caused him to have a panic attack. The fact that he chose some bitch over Michael.

"No no he's not gone" Luke said while shaking his head.

"He died because his heart failed" Ashton whispered but Luke shook his head.

"No! He's messing with me! He's okay! Where is he? Is this some joke??" Luke cried out while looking around feeling his eyes water

"I'm sorry Luke but he's not here. He's gone" Ashton croaked. Then that's when Luke lost it he started crying. He grabbed a plant that was sitting on the table and threw it at the wall.

"NO" Luke cried out before dropping to his knees and wailing very loudly.

But it was all pain. All he felt was pure pain. It felt like someone punch a whole right threw his chest. A big whole that felt that could never be repaired. All the bad things he has done to Michael flashing through his mind, making the whole grow bigger.

So that's what Luke did, he cried and cried because that's all he could do. Everyone stared sympathetically at the broken boy.
